« Overall very nice house, has all of the basics needed, and for most part conveniently located. Beautiful view, and nicely appointed. Comfortable beds and furniture. Some minor issues with ceiling fans and some lighting. There are several switches that we couldn’t figure what they were for. Labeling them would be helpful. »

« This was a great home and stay! Location was wonderful with easy walk to the lake. Kitchen and home were well stocked with everything you would need and more. Water pressure in shower and kitchen sink were was low. Mattresses were okay. Host was kind and communicative. »

« Had an enjoyable stay at Black Lake. Cottage was clean and furniture comfy.. There are quite a few stairs to get to the lake which provided beautiful sunsets. My spouse and granddaughter enjoyed the kayaks which were on site.Kitchen was well stocked and provided all we needed to prepare our meals. Two lovely decks enhanced the stay. »

« We extremely enjoyed our stay here! Especially the sunroom. We are repeat visitors. The beach is right outside the door, beautiful and private. If you need things to do, the rec room is absolutely full of games and ping pong and foos ball and darts and everything you could want. There are also 3 refrigerators! This year, we actually ventured out and took the glass bottomed boat tour! »

« My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend! »

« We had three couples stay as we were boating the inland waterway. So the dock was very convenient. All of the accommodations were as presented. With plenty of cooking items available. We ate many meals on the nice deck overlooking the black river. »

« Had a great view of the lake and easy to park your boat. I would recommend some non stick pot and pans. Eric was super helpful. Our rental buddies were awesome neighbors. Fishing was a bit hard but fun. Never saw a hail storm in June it was crazy. Thank you for the memories. »

« The stay at Charlie’s was fabulous. The property include a large pond for viewing , great for morning coffee or a walk. The living room and bar setup were very comfortable with pop out recliners. The kitchen was very cute and had all your daily requirements. The bedroom was very large with 3 large beds and plenty of space. I loved the overall peaceful and warm vibe. Will be staying again! »
