I loved my stay here! The apartment was so cozy, and it was the perfect distance from Toronto's city center. There's some great shops and restaurants nearby, and I felt safe and comfortable througout my stay.
The host was easy to reach any time and took care of any little issues right away. The beds were super comfortable. Location and parking were both great.
I do not recommend this place at all! Stair well wasn’t mentioned and it’s very tight. The blankets had hair all over them, there is mold underneath the sink and behind the walls as you can smell as soon as you walk in. Lots of bugs. The place wasn’t clean at all cub-boards are dirty “clean” dishes had hair on them. I left not long after checking in and asked for my refund and they said no as I didn’t let them “fix” the issue. Not sure how you can fix mold and bug issues within a matter of time. There was also no cleaning supplies ..Very disappointed . Definitely not in a safe neighbourhood as well …

I don't recommend it at all, no communication with the owner, only by email, no phone. The description doesn't mention that it's in a basement with no windows. My wife and kids were scared to stay, so we had to leave the place and book another for the night. The owner didn't respond to me when I described the place by whatsapp.

We were glad to have a parking spot with this rental. We could not enter from the Queen Street side. The only entry to this basement property was a back lane littered with bins and trashWe were surprised by the spiral metal open stairs leading down to this basement apartment. We specifically chose this rental as we were travelling with our dog. She refused to go down these stairs. We appreciate that the owner responded quickly to provide a solution. The spiral stairs should have been mentioned in the rental description because they are unusual and would compromise accessibility for some people, let alone dogs. The other amenities were adequate although we didn’t use the shower. The bed was very comfortable-the second bed seemed to be the same quality. The room was too warm for us—but unfortunately no thermostat. The rental description mentions a garden, but we didn’t see one. There were many shops, restaurants and cafes in the area. Happily, there was an off-leash dog park nearby. In our opinion, this property was overpriced due to the difficult access and being in a basement with only one small window.
