Not just the convenient location to my family, but the friendly staff and the lovely coffee shop in the lobby. The rooms are Spartan—this is a Japanese-style hotel—but we spend little time in the room during our visit. The porch is along a lovely, quiet walkway, so there is no traffic when enjoying the outdoors. Because the hotel has a stark white and minimalist aesthetic, it was very distracting. Management should consider periodically cleaning the walls or repainting.
