The showers could use a face lift but overall the kangaroo hotel was a good experience. The bathrooms definitely need a proper clean or renovation, it is an odd setup with toilets on floor 1 and 2 and the showers only on the ground floor. The bed is only just two cushions that look like they can fall at any time. No elevator either and rather than each floor having a shower, its only located on the first floor so going up and down can be a little tiring. The location is perfect though with it being not too far from the sky tree and Minami-Senju station. Since It was an emergency, I had no other choice. First week was okay, I think I had quite the enjoyable stay, with the exception of the bathroom and the shower. Shower is extremely dirty, and honestly you should get your own bath towel since they charge for it. You should be well prepared and have your own stuff ready unless you wanna pay for it. This is also, the worst place to get sick, especially in the winter. Have an extra set of clothes ready, and a blanket. Other than that, I think you should be fine. Oh, but if you're carrying a heavy and/or big luggage, They only have stairs here, and it's pretty narrow to climb up with it, so be very careful. I think this place otherwise, is a very good place to stay for a short period of time, like 3 to 5 days. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, with the exception of the bathroom being shared, and the shower as well. ##### Dylan Stayed 11 nights in Dec 2024 ### 4/10 Poor #### Chunlan Aug 7, 2024 Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities The location is okay, close to the skytree Tokyo... however the hotel stairs is very narrow and no elevator and the room is tiny and no room for luggage even in the room, my backpack has to stay on bed. The staff was nice to allow us to leave the luggage there before the check in hour. The bed is uncomfortable, the whole floor is sharing one bathroom area. we booked 2 nights however I had to change to another place and simply forgot about the money I paid for the 2nd night. I didn't feel like wanting to shower after a hot humid sweaty day in the Tokyo summer...There's a tin box in the room will a long rope that can be used for one to escape from window in case of fire. It might be a good thing however looks pretty scary though. I feel like maybe need to act 007 one night. Don't feel safe due to the super narrow stairs. Would not recommend it unless you really want to save money.
