There was mold in the bathroom. Speckles on the walls, ceiling, on and under bathroom fixtures. I know it is not a simple task to get rid of mold, but as a customer it is very concerning to see. The duvet cover on the bed was also looking questionable, and the smoke smell from the smoking rooms does leak into the elevator if that is something you care about, but I have no other complaints. The room we were sent to was in poor condition with broken objects (toilet flushing came with special instructions) and mildew and dirt spots everywhere. I've stayed in very budget hotels/motels before but I've never had the pleasure of seeing large circles under the bedsheet.... that ended up being blood. A lot of fresh red blood. Everywhere. Clearly visible and chosen to be covered by the bedsheet. The best part? The bedside phone has a sign offering "massage" services by the hour. This is not a tourist hotel.
