Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. Everything we needed and more for our 4 night stay, the first of our Japan trip, convenient and quiet location. Great wifi and iron available when needed. It's modern and has all the amenities for a family to use. It's accommodated all 5 of us comfily. Having a clothes washer was a big plus. The apartment was perfect for me and my two teenagers. We stayed there for seven days in July/August. The apartment is really nice, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The location is great. It is close to a subway station (Shin-Ōkubo), just a few minutes walk. Shinjuku Station is a big station only one stop away (there they have a JR Travel Service Senter). It’s a nice and quiet neighbourhood, and shopping streets and restaurants are nearby. I would absolutely like to stay there again.
