Imagine the ambiance of relaxing by a cozy fireplace with a glowing fire inside a charming, authentic log cabin. Then imagine sitting by a crackling firepit as the creek flows by…. This is what a vacation is all about and Creekside Comfort is the perfect place! This cabin is located in the quaint community of Todd, NC which is famous for the Todd Mercantile and RiverGirl Fishing Company where you can rent canoes and paddle down the scenic New River, or rent a bike for a ride on Railroad Grade Road which runs beside the New River. They even teach you how to fly fish if you are so inclined!

From the moment you step into “Creekside Comfort” you are sure to feel at home. A warm and inviting kitchen/dining area greets you. Featuring a gas log fireplace, a dining table for four with lazy susan, and even a Keurig coffeemaker, the kitchen is well-equipped for preparing a quick snack or even a full meal. There are tractor seat stools around the kitchen island, so the whole family can hang out together while the meal is being cooked.

The living area is a spacious sunroom with gas logs, a flat screen, wall mounted TV above the fireplace, and access to both the front and back deck by the creek. Curl up on the comfy leather sofa with recliners on each end and watch a good movie. Open the blinds and let nature shine in through the many windows.

Also on the main level is the master bedroom with queen bed with flat screen TV and private bath with tub and shower.

Upstairs is another loft bedroom with a comfy double bed, rocking chair, and a half bath.

Sit a spell on the covered front porch and listen to the bubbling stream – that will surely take all your cares away…or build a fire in the firepit by the creek, roast some marshmallows, and catch some fireflies!

Located just 7 miles from West Jefferson and 17 miles from Boone, you’ll enjoy the quiet, leisurely atmosphere this log home community offers. Whether you want to relax at the cabin or prefer adventurous experiences while here on vacation, Creekside Comfort will certainly accommodate!
