"I call at the treehouse Villa. That’s the best description and it’s amazing. It’s hard to describe this amazing structure that they’ve created. Just make the booking if it’s available. If you don’t like treehouses, please don’t make the booking. This is the only place I will stay in this area ever again. 6/5 stars. The views are in incredible from the front two rooms which run about $22 a night. Hot water bath is available. Modest breakfast is served. You have an amazing view of the ocean...

You have an amazing view of the ocean and you’re in the treetops., you just have to go see it. When you stay the first night, you’ll want to stay for a week. If you’ve already booked a week, you’ll want the month. If it is available, book it. You will never regret it. I will come to this area of Indonesia just to stay there. The owner is fantastic. The staff is friendly. panoramic suite: The beds are comfortable, living room semi private.. The bedroom is completely private. Hot water shower. rustic heaven in the trees"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Tjimadja?
The best time to visit Tjimadja for optimal weather conditions is during the dry season, which typically runs from May to September.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for outdoor activities like exploring the tea plantations or visiting the local waterfalls. The temperatures are consistently warm but generally comfortable, avoiding the higher humidity of the wet season. This period is great for travellers who want to maximise their time enjoying Tjimadja's natural beauty without weather disruptions.

For those looking to avoid larger crowds and potentially find better value on accommodation and activities, the shoulder months of May, June, and September are excellent choices. You'll still benefit from good weather but with a slightly more relaxed atmosphere before or after the peak tourist season.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Tjimadja.
How much is the nightly rate at a Tjimadja hotel?
Prices for hotels in Tjimadja often vary, but you can find a great deal from CA $19 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
