We're excited to host you at our Sequoia River House! The home sits on 7 acres right in the middle of mountains with endless views from each angle of the home. You will find a beautiful trail that leads you to our picturesque RIVER with endless boulders!! There you will find two large decks over the river and sitting area along the river. The home gives you amazing sunrises and sunsets out on the extra large patio off the living room. Wake up to mountain views out of all bedrooms. The home is very close to the entrance of the Sequoia National Park.

THE HOUSE::
This home is the ultimate River House with high ceiling and wall to wall windows over looking all the glorious mountains views. This home sits on 7 acres with beautiful trails to the river. Upon entering the home you will be greeted by beautiful bright vaulted ceilings over looking the mountains all around. All furnishings are all of which set that "mountain modern" vibe for this home in the woods. This House was remodeled with all the amenities - Smart TV, satellite Direct TV cable, WiFi (Please note that the wifi is a hit and miss for this location as we are in a rural part of town) ,cordless phone, BluRay Player. It has 3 Bedroom and 2 bathrooms, and also a Sun Room with a Futon. All spaces have been curated with modern furniture creating a calm and relaxing environment to sleep that stress away. All new Real Wood Floors installed throughout, beautifully stained. All new tile in the bathrooms with floating vanities. Freshly painted. The master bathroom has a rain shower head with a large seating bench. The Kitchen was completely remodeled with all new Stainless Steel Appliances, with a Wolf Stove. The House has central AC / Heat. It has a washer/dryer. The property has its own beautiful trails to enjoy. Please also note that we do have exterior cameras to protect our property as no one lives on site. The Sunroom also acts as a game room with a foosball table , arcades of pacman and marvel x-men.

THE RIVER AND THE 2 DECKS::
You will find a beautiful trail that lead you to our picturesque river with endless boulders!! There you will find two large decks over the river and sitting areas along the river. This area is absolutely breathtaking!
The Southfork River is beautiful all year round. Like all natural rivers the  Rivers has high seasons and low.  In the spring and early summer it is high and fast moving. As summer wanes the river slows and lower but never completely dies up. We are fortunate to have water year round so you will always enjoy the soothing sounds of the river. Children must be chaperone at all time especially near the river.  Please be cautious of current, especially during winter and early spring.
(The 2 decks are located at the river area. The river area where the decks are is just a short stroll  from the house.)

AROUND::
The Sequoias and surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains are some of the best that California has to offer. Centrally located, the house is about 15 minutes drive to the main entrance to Sequoia National Park station and both Slick Rock recreation areas and King’s Canyon National Park, and just a 10 minutes from Three Rivers town restaurants and shops. A nature lovers paradise, there are plenty of areas to hike, bike, fish, and swim; and during the summer months, world-class white-water rafting and kayaking. Lake Kaweah, surrounded by the golden hills of California’s lower Sierra Nevada mountains, is just five miles downstream and a hot spot for boating and fishing.

DISCLOSURE:
The Contempory River House shares the river area only with The River Retreat Cabin which is an occasional vacation rental also host by us. These are the only 2 private vacation houses on the 6 acres property, so if you have a larger party and would like to rent out both houses then feel free to ask. Please note that both homes are completely separated from one another . There is a fence between each homes and both homes have their own parking and backyard oasis space. There is definitely privacy between the two homes. We strive to make your time with us a relaxing and a memorable experience.
