The owner (Sam) was very quick to answer any of our texts. The reason for our “okay” rating was because of multiple issues, most of which Sam said he would address soon. •Our apartment, while very pretty, was not cleaned well and multiple items were broken or unusable. We sent him photos of all of the above.•There is a flight of stairs down to the apartment and as I can't use stairs easily, this is something I wish I had known about before we booked.•Another issue to be aware of, is that, although the building itself is locked with a pin pad, the apartment door itself can only be locked while you are IN the apartment. If you leave the apartment to sightsee etc., the apartment door can NOT be locked behind you. We found that out the hard way, as we left one evening and locked the apartment, with our belongings, behind us. When we got home, after dark, we were able to enter the building but not our apartment. We needed to text Sam and he had a more permanent tenant come and let us back into ours.
