Ginny and Shawn were great ! They were extremely friendly and accommodating of our needs. Place was wonderful and room was nicely decorated. Room was much bigger than anticipated. Location was on the spit and close to everything. Would highly recommend staying here.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the room had an incredible ocean view! Room was cozy with modern amenities and nicely put together and had a huge comfy bed. Great location right on the spit. Will definitely stay again.

Great location on the Spit. Close to lots of food options. A little hard to find as we didn’t receive the messages. And we weren’t expecting it to be above a tackle shop. Great kitchenette. Fabulous views over the ocean. Maybe a little more hanging space would be our only criticism. Had a great time in Homer.

Absolutely loved this stay! The property was perfect! Everything was updated and fresh, the hosts were so welcoming and sweet. We would definitely stay again and HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone!

Loved the view. We saw eagles & sea otters from our window. Could hear the waves. Truly amazing. Would have been nice to have blackout shade but it wasn't there. Great location. Owners were great! Bed was comfortable. Barn door bathroom door so not much privacy in that way but we would still stay again.

This was the perfect location if you want to be on the Homer spit. Close to shopping and restaurants and the ocean can be seen from every window. Beds were super comfy and the shower hot. We will return if we need lodging in Homer again!

The Shack Inn on the Homer spit was a great place to stay. I was very comfortable staying and the unit that I stayed in was spacious and tastefully done. It was clean and in a great location in order to experience the Homer spit!

Wonderful Stay with Stunning Views in Homer Spit

I spent two nights at this beautiful hotel right by the water in Homer Spit. The owner is a genuinely friendly and helpful person who made the stay even more enjoyable. My room was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, with an incredible view. I truly enjoyed my visit and will definitely return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Wake up to a view of the ocean and mountains. Had all the basics. The weather didn't cooperate (fierce wind) but it was still awesome. The host went above and beyond for us. Just beware that booking through expedia may provide inaccurate information (there is no elevator! There is no washing machine).

What an awesome, unique, and relaxing stay! The unit is located above the family-owned bait and tackle shop along the spit- which means unbelievable views! We loved this chic and unique stay!

Highly recommend! The one bedroom suite plus two beds and kitchenette was perfect for our family of 4. Great communication, easy parking and clear directions. Two of us rented fishing gear from the Tackle Shop below the Inn and enjoyed the fishing hole across the street and at the end of the Spit at low tide thanks to the friendly, helpful staff. The other two family members enjoyed the perfect location for enjoying the shops, marina and beach. Our meals at The Broken Oar within short walk were a highlight of our trip, too.

AMAZING PLACE!!! The view is incredible - picture waking up to bald eagles soaring outside your window and within walking distance to restaurants and charter boats.

Beautiful Destination

Wonderful location looking over the ocean. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right on the beach for enjoying views and Long Beach walks!
