My stay at The Santa Maria
There was not enough information given about the location of the apartment. Even the taxi driver couldn’t find the address. If it hadn’t been for the fact we had stayed in the hotel in the past, we would never have found it. The hotel reception manager was very rude to us when we asked about the apartment, saying that they had nothing to do with the private apartments in the hotel. They wouldn’t let us purchase Wi-Fi. Other than that our stay was very good. The room was clean with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend staying there. Just get a proper address if you’re getting a taxi from the airport to the Santa Maria hotel.

apartment was good to put your head down the beds were comfy sun on terrace after 3 was glorious sun loungers would've been nice for me .noise from car park .was grateful for the water and milk left in fridge didnt arrived till after 3.30am.room had washer, iron/board +shopping trolly.nice location for beaches 5 min stroll.host was very informative no problem's even reception was very helpful phoning taxi's for us thanks.

Brilliant apartment and location
Great value for money and central to everything you need. Hired a car but only parking available at the front of the hotel but not a problem to park on nearby streets if no room. Definitely recommend and would stay here again! Thanks Katherine

Fantastic spot ideal for access to amenities and beach
We had a super time. The air con was a god send in the evenings. The bedding was clean and there was plenty of hot water. The apartment is a little tired but it was clean and ideally located.. The hotel was exceptionally quiet when we went in October so we had undisturbed sleep. No cases travellinh down the corridor in the middle of the night. There is plenty of room by the pool and a terrace adjoining the pool area with beds that caught the late afternoon and evening sun as it went down over the sea. The apartment itself has a small terrace overlooking the front of the hotel so this was shaded in the afternoon but this wasn't an issue for us as we came back from beach early evening and then were getting ready to go out. We caught the bus from the airport to the bus station in Costa adeje and then a short taxi ride from there to the apartment. Lots of places closed due to covid and quarantine restrictions on tourists but there was live music in the Temple Bar which was a short walk away. HARLEYS was closed for those of you who know the area and that it quite close to the apartment. The apartment owner Katherine has been responsive to emails and having milk water tea and coffee provided when we arrived was a god send. There is no wifi available. Reception won't give you a code if you are in the private apartments. But if you have a good data allowance with your phone then the mobile network has good reception. Will definitely go back to these apartments.. (the owner has more than one)

Fabulous, spotlessly clean apartment, perfectly situated for bars and restaurants.
First time we have stayed at the Santa Maria and it did not disappoint. The communication and response from katherine was extremely quick and efficient. We were kept up to date with checkin arrangements etc. All went extremely smoothly thank you for a lovely stay.

Apartment needs upgraded
The apartment need a upgrade would have helped if was told balcony not having sunshine. Seen other apartments that was upgraded and well kept for the same price. Couldn’t fault the manager as she texted right back

I am sorry the apartment was not up to your expectation. We intend to upgrade the apartment in stages. However, I would mention that the sun does get into the balcony in the late afternoon, but may not be as much in the winter months as it does in the hot summer.

The hotel is clean, bright and in a good location. Numerous nearby restaurants and easy access to the beach and harbour. The only minor hitch was that 'Owners' Apts. did not have access to the hotel WiFi - but not a real problem as free WiFi was readily available at most restaurants and cafes.The pool area was pleasant but the usual problem of towels on empty loungers was there.

FUN IN THE SUN
We stayed in Katherine's studio apt no 191 for ten days in December & had a great time . It suited our needs very well . Details as follows : Communication : Every step of the booking process , information about accessing the property & contact to resolve a small problem we had while there , were ALL handled very quickly & professionally . Location : Right in the centre of the Costa Adeje area , close to the beach , local bars & restaurants , bus routes & shopping centres & supermarkets -- ALL WITHIN A 5 MIN WALK The apartment is in a quiet location overlooking the front car park of the hotel . CONTENTS : The apartment had every thing that you would usually need for a self catering holiday . It was also good to have a welcome pack of water , tea , coffee & sugar on our arrival . Overall we would highly recommend Katherine's apartment to family & friends and would not hesitate to book again if the property was available . Paul & Mandy

Very practical studio - 5 mins to beach, loads of restaurants to choose from though away from any noise. Just the job!! Nice touch with a welcome pack - milk, coffee, tea, bottled water, etc. Studio comfortable but why do they build with tiled floors? Could hear every footstep above.

Santa Maria is in a ideal position central to everything. Try the american bar down the bank over the road to your left with cars for tables outside if you like rock music which is on every night. Little extras were appreciated in apartment

Very comfortable and clean apartment for 2 adults
Apartment is as advertised and the location is great if you like to be central to all amenities, shops, bars, restaurants, beech, etc. Apartment had all your needs for basic self catering. Also there was a welcome pack of milk and water from the Management which was very useful when you arrive on a late plane and much appreciated. There was a change of linen and towels after the first week and everything was very satisfactory. Would consider rebooking and be happy to recommend to family and friends. Thank you to Katherine who was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely Apartment
We have just come home from a lovely 10 days in one of Katherine's apartments! Room was ready when we arrived, smooth check in process and reception staff were lovely. Pool and terrace area was fab, sunbeds were slightly uncomfortable and we were unable to use the pool bar due to being private however we were able to consume our own drinks and food so wasn't much of a problem. The room was well equipped and we cooked our own breakfast everyday in the apartment. The only recommendation I would make, would be an update to the balcony furniture and a note in the apartment to tell guests to empty the water bottle for air con. About 5 days into our visit, we had water puddles on the balcony as we didn't realise that we had to empty the bottle. It wasnt until the 5th day into our stay we realised where the water was coming from. Lovely service from Katherine and are looking forward to staying with you again in the future. Also special mention to the bar on way up to Santa Maria, lovely service and nice place to call in for a night cap on way home!

Perfect central location for all amenities. Apartment (3) had all the facilities you can want. Aircon was a must! Only downside was the management attitude to owners. No wifi code or use of poolside bar. Not a problem though when you can get wifi in all the surrounding bars and take your own drink to the pool. Owners very accommodating to late check out. Would definitely stay again!

The studio met all our needs and was clean and comfortable. There are plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices in the vicinity and it's only a 10 minute walk to the promenade. We visited various bars and hotels nearby at night to enjoy their entertainment. I would definitely book again as it was good value for money.

We enjoyed our stay.Thank you for warning us of hotel limitation on internet and poolside bar as the hotel staff did not mention anything when we checked in, The apartment floor has tiles loose which was covered by a rug .I bought a new ironing board cover as the other one was past its best? regards Pauline &Colin stevens

Super Kommunikation und tolle Lage
Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in dem Apartment. Der Check in und die Kommunikation mit Katherine verlief so schnell und problemlos. Das Apartment ist ausreichend groß und super sauber. Leider könnten die Matratzen ausgetauscht werden, da diese schon sehr durch waren. Es war super, dass es eine Waschmaschine gab und die Küche bot uns alles, um täglich frisch zu kochen. Der kleine Balkon war schön, um abends die Abendsonne zu genießen. Uns hat die Lage sehr gefallen, schnell und einfach zum Strand und auch ein kleiner Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Somit passte es für uns und es war alles so wie es angegeben wurde. Leider waren bei unserem Aufenthalt mehrere Baustellen neben uns und es ab morgens halb 9 bis 17 Uhr lauter. Auch die Nachbarn waren oft störend, weil die Wände doch sehr dünn sind. Dafür kann aber Katherine nichts. Am Ende am besten Oropax rein, dann schläft man wie ein Baby. Wir würden bei diesem Preis und der Lage wiederkommen. Vielleicht dann mit neuen Matratzen.

Super situation
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Nous avons rencontré Katherine une personne très sympathique et disponible. Dans le frigidaire nous avions du lait et une bouteille d’eau de bienvenue. Nous étions à côté de tout( plage, restaurants, arrêt de bus, grandes surfaces, épicerie….) L’appartement un peu vieillot mais ça ne nous a pas empêché de passer un bon séjour.

Very good location and price vs quality
Complex located within a few hundred meters of Puerto Colon Beach with is nice bars and restaurants and harbour with water activity rentals. Studio is located on 1st floor with the balcon on the side of the entrance and parking of the complex. So no noise of the pool in the early morning, however also no inconvenience of parking cars from tourists or trucks from suppliers. The studio is large enough for 2 people, has a complete kitchen, good beds, good shower, clean washing machine and even a DVD player with a large variation in movies. The airco is perfect for hot days, however we did not have to use it this much as outside temperature was approx. 25 degrees Celcius. Except the nice welcoming package there were spices, olive oil, shower gel, shampoo and detergent available. When we arrived we met the owners that were in the studio. Very friendly couple who regularly check all of their appartments to assure the quality. During arrival a light broke which was fixed within a few minutes. It was mentioned several times that we did not need to hesitate to contact them in case of any questions or remarks. However everything was great and we did not need to contact the owners. Apparently Santa Maria has recently changed their policy. They had stopped providing all facilities to guests that rented from private owners. This includes the use of poolside bar, restaurant, and hire of safety deposit box, tennis court, self-service launderette and even Wi-Fi in the reception area. You can still use the swimming pools and the free loungers around the pool. This is a very strange policy to our opinion as they loose income from private rentals, additional to the loss in income on rentals. Normally we always had breakfast at their restaurant, but now we had in on our balcony, as the supermarkt is within 100 meters. Furthermore the location offers plenty of good restaurants for all prices and noice bars with entertainment. These restrictions did not adversely affect us during our stay. We would definitely book this studio again for our next stay in Costa Adeje.
