Good, not great.
We went in with mild expectations as we have stayed at a Riu before and have an idea on what to expect. Overall, it was fine. Place was clean, staff were excellent - outside of the lady who checked us in and was not overly friendly and enjoyed saying “no” a lot. Cleaning staff and restaurant staff were 10/10. Breakfast was good, something we looked forward too but still could be improved. Buffet dinner was pretty bad. The rate we paid to include half board was absolutely not worth it after trying the buffet dinner. We ended up having dinners outside the resort because it was so bad. Also they charge you for water and pop etc which seems wildly unfair for such a large scale resort. The demographic is mostly 75 plus year olds and being in our 30’s, this was a bit of a shock. Overall, that was fine as they were very quiet! Next time we will stay elsewhere and look forward to eating more food off the resort. Not worth the money.

It’s probably been the best resort we’ve stayed. To resume everything in one word, we’d say IMPECABLE. Everything was just perfect, from the moment we entered the hotel lobby, to the rooms and all areas. Staff is simply incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurants were just amazing, and the food just delicious. We over indulged every day! The night shows were fantastic. The hotel location couldn’t be better, with the beach just literally 1 minute walk. Quite beach with a life saver post, black sand with pristine waters. We just want to specifically mention Monica, Linda and Ana at front desk; they answered every single of our, sometimes annoying, questions in patient and friendly manner. We were very sad when we left but looking forward to a second visit.

Welcoming and helpful reception and catering staff. Clean and spacious room - lovely shower. Some days room attendant had to be reminded to replace soap and lotion.

Hotel with best position in Costa Adeje
We stayed in sea view room which had lovely views over gardens across to the sea. Pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food. We were planning on eating out a few times but changed our minds. The speciality restaurants were both good. The quality of the evening entertainment was varied, some better than others. The ambiance in the theatre seating area could be improved with some table lighting. The pool area was great. We loved the adults only pool. Overall we would definately stay here again

Amazing place to stay
We honestly couldn’t fault this hotel from beginning to end our stay was amazing. The staff are happy to work for their management and it shows in their attitude towards the guest. Nothing was to much for them. The room service was amazing the option to have fresh towels daily and a turn down service on the evening. Food was delicious with lots of areas to choose to sit. The view from general sitting areas was stunning. It was my husband’s birthday during the stay and we received a complimentary bottle of cava in the room which was a lovely surprise. The only negative was the charge for the safe in the room of €36 we declined but never felt our belongings were unsafe… could not understand this price. We never left the hotel for our 6 day stay we booked half board and the bar and lunch time food was reasonable priced also. It was also a perfect location to take pics of my home sewn wardrobe. The setting was stunning. Perfect winter getaway. Thank you

This is an excellent hotel in a great position leading out onto the coastal walkway. The staff were fantastic. I can’t fault it in any way.

Overall the stay was very good. Buffet food was good and plenty of choice. Sun beds around the pool area could do with a good clean as could the paving. People had started putting towels out around 6am.

Приятный и красивый отель. Полноценные 5 звёзд. Территория пальмовая роща. Три бассейна, один из них infinity pool для взрослых. Терраса для завтраков и ужинов великолепна. Хороший буфет на завтрак и ужин. Из недостатков : подогрев бассейнов летом на низком уровне. В некоторых других отелях вода теплее. В номере нет чайника, кофеварки и бесплатной воды. Оборудование в спортзале далеко не новое, гантелей нет. Зимой обычно более ветрено, чем в других отелях, видимо из-за особенностей расположения.

Magnífico hotel y buffet. Tacaños con el agua
Excelente hotel y servicio. Un buffet muy bueno, tanto en desayuno como en cena. Es una lástima que cobren por agua. Se entiende que la bebida no está incluida, !pero el agua!. Una garrafa de 8 litros cuesta 1,50 euros en un supermercado. Por lo que cuesta esta reserva, bien podrían incluirla

Amazing hotel with very friendly staff. The pool area is beautiful. The Atlantic Ocean is only steps away with very nice sandy beach. The room was lovely with spectacular view of the pool area and the ocean. This hotel felt like paradise!

Staff were fantastic and great with our 7 month old baby. The restaurant and bar area have views over the ocean that are simply breathtaking. Food was freshly prepared and cooked in front of customers at the buffet, which made it much more appealing. The clientele of the hotel seem to be much older - I’d say the average age is about 70! But there were some younger families, and it suited us perfectly as we were up early each day with the baby, and in bed by 10 every night!

One of the best hotels on Tenerife for relax holiday. Only pensioners stay there actually. Good choice of food. One cons: there are not free water in the room. We were forced to buy water in supermarket.

The Hotel Riu Palace will not disappoint. This hotel was everything we could have asked for! Reception: A huge shout-out to the reception staff. Your wish is their command, and they will do everything in their power to help you out. - They helped reassure there would be gluten-free options (as I am celiac), - they ensured we would have someone to check us in at 3:30am (due to ridiculous flight delays). - My baggage was lost, and they called the airport 3x a day and The airline to see if it was on its way yet. - we “lost” an item (our own error), they found it so efficiently for us and delivered it so we didn’t have to go track it down - they had great recommendations for us and were always a SMILING face :) Food: Wow! The food was great. Being celiac it is always hard to find options, the buffet here was not shy. They had everything imaginable at breakfast and dinner. We ate out at the Krystal restaurant one evening, but to be honest we preferred the buffet. The staff at the buffet are awesome, always personable and really, truly want to meet your needs. Pool: 3 different pool areas - we spent all of our time at the adults-only infinity pool (quiet and relaxing with a great view of the ocean). We always could find a chair whether it was morning or afternoon after excursions when we showed up. Room: It is exactly as shown in the photos. Lots of amenities, cleaning staff was great and our walk-out terrace was an awesome touch!

Come and relax on the beach!
I really enjoyed my stay at this beachfront property. The palm trees and beach were very relaxing. Even in mid-October, I was able to swim outdoors. The food, which was included with the room, was fantastic. The wait staff were all enthusiastic to serve me, including in English. I also enjoyed being able to listen to live music at the hotel in the evening. While I was on a business trip, I was able to enjoy much of what the hotel had to offer. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future and have already recommended the hotel to friends.
