Nestled in the charming beach town of Playa Potrero, Costa Rica, awaits a stunning modern tiny house that promises to enchant you with its unique charm and amenities. Please note there is a small river bed that needs to be crossed in order to get to the vacation home. From December to April, it is typically dry or has very little water. However, as the rainy season slowly starts after that period, the river bed may carry some water, making it necessary to use an SUV. The tiny house is a compact yet modern living space that features a cozy bedroom with a comfortable bed and a flat-screen TV for your entertainment. The living area boasts a second flat-screen TV and sofa. The studio also comes equipped with a well-appointed kitchenette complete with a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, fridge, and freezer, allowing you to prepare your own meals at your leisure. You can enjoy your culinary creations on the terrace, which features comfortable lounge furniture, a dining area, and a barbecue grill. The container home itself is well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It was a treat to have a bbq! The outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. The patio is a great place to enjoy the pura vida. A bonus is the proximity to the beach and grocery store. We visited Playa Penca every day for a morning walk and swim. It’s a beautiful beach. I needed a private place to work. The Wi-Fi worked amazingly without issues. I like to cook, and the kitchen allowed me to easily make my meals. It was only a short travel to restaurants and grocery stores. The price was perfect, and I'd have no problems recommending this place. Also, the pool was clean and refreshing. We loved every minute of our stay at Britta's place. The house was immaculate, and we didn't see a single bug the entire week we stayed there. The A/C unit was small, but kept the place cool, and the pool and hammock were absolutely wonderful. We heard the monkeys every morning, and saw them a few times in the trees behind the house. The house has a gate around the property which helps you feel very private which was a nice bonus. Sitting in the hammock you'll see all kinds of birds and other wildlife. We came back from the beach one day to an iguana hanging out by the pool. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful stay close to Potrero Beach. (Although Dante and Dantita beaches ended up being our favorites). Definitely take advantage of the recommendations left for you! Wish we could have stayed longer.
