"Beautiful setting in the country. Not exactly easy to get to since the access road is filled with pot holes, cows and very bumpy. A solid 10 minute drive off main paved road to get to Villa. Host was accomadating but a lot went wrong. It wasn’t occupied for over a month and we were greeted with water on floor in kitchen unknowing of source. Water heater never worked so we had cold showers throughout week. And then our neighbors(cows) came through property overnight and made quite a mess....

"We had a fantastic stay, the house has so much character and charm, and we really felt at home. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca. "The property had great amenities on site which made you feel catered for. The sites clean and tidy and the staff very friendly. I stayed in a glamping tent, as a solo traveller it was perfect and it’s a great base to head into the city from with its travel links and then return for a more relaxed evening. Room was really nice, comfy bed and good en-suite and peaceful at night. Highly recommend to solo travellers as well as the usual couples/families who make up most of the plots. "

"We had an amazing time at the Rivalta Hotel. My husband and I stayed in two different River View suites over a week, and both were equally amazing. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. When we arrived we discovered that one of our suitcase locks was broken, and they sent someone up with tools to help us get in to it. We loved the breakfast each morning and rooftop patio. Very happy with our entire visit and will absolutely be back!"
