Lovely balcony area for enjoying sunny mornings with coffee outside. Great proximity to the lake front. Excellent restaurant menu from Dixie Brown’s delivered to the room when an home night was needed. Excellent beds.

Nice motel. Very clean, staff very welcoming and helpful. There would have been a nice private terrace, just the weather was still too cold sitting outside. Lots of dinner opportunities in Taupo. Parking was free. Would book the motel again if in the area.

Beechtree Motel provided us with a large room, king size bed, spa bath and bathroom, and a kitchenette, which were all very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We were allocated a room on the top floor which gave us lake views. We would happily book this reasonably priced accommodation if we travelled to Taupō again.

The Beechtree was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Check in was a breeze and Bob was wonderful to deal with! Traveling as a family of 4 it was spacious enough that we were comfortable. The rooms were a good size and ours had a stove top, microwave, mini fridge and sink area with a good range of equipment if you were wanting to cook (which we didnt get to utilize). Across the road was a Four Square mini supermarket, butcher, café and Chinese takeaway so brilliant to have all that just a few steps away! I would definitely recommend the Beechtree and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Room itself was OK. We seemed to be in a wheelchair friendly room, which was fine, but the shower pressure wasn't great. Lights outside did shine through at night so that was a little distracting. Otherwise as always good location and comfortable beds.
