Great location, there was previous occupants body and hair wash and deodorant in bathroom, fireplace did not work pilot light was on but would not ignite, I highly recommend to run your water hot and cold for at least 15 min , water will still have a yellow tint to it but not as bad as the beginning (staff should let customers know ) but overall it was quiet , bed was comfortable and clean
This is one of the most beautiful and unique mountain resorts I have ever visited. There is a gorgeous golf course surrounded by evergreen trees, a marina and ski area. Our hotel room overlooked the golf course and marina. There is a lovely bar on the patio of the hotel with a friendly bartender. The hot tub was amazing!!! The only down side for us: the check in for the hotel was in a separate building and it was confusing where we should go. The chapel where we attended a beautiful wedding was lovely and picturesque.
You absolutely exceeded my expectations. What a wonderful hotel, fantastic room, everything about this trip was so easy. My daughter and I had such a good time that I’m hopefully coming back next week with my husband. Staff was wonderful, thank you all very much!
We went while it was off season and for a wedding. The place was peaceful, quiet, and enjoyable. Wished some of the shops were open longer but still fun to walk around and fun places to eat at nesr the resort.
We Stay here approximately 3 times A Year. Always clean and comfortable It seems every year it gets better with upgrades. Next time we will definitely bring our golf clubs and try the on site course.
Our stay at the Tamarack Resort was above and beyond anything we expected. I booked it through Hotels.com and we were blown away by the unit we stayed in - San Miguel 301, if anyone wants to know. Absolutely fabulous!! We were there during off-season so a lot of the shops and restaurants were not open, but we did have dinner at The Reserve and it was wonderful. Delicious food, drink and our server Vicki B. made it extra special and enjoyable. We also had services at the Spa and thought they were very good.

The Resort was aesthetically pleasing but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The golf course was was very good and the round was a lot of fun. The check in experience was very frustrating. I had requested an early check in the day before we arrived. The response was they couldn’t guarantee it but they would make a note of it. That was acceptable. When we arrived on Tuesday at approximately 2:45 we were told the room wasn’t ready. That was okay so we walked around the facility and we watched some of the golf tournament that was going on. We returned the the check in office at 3:45 and again was told the room wasn’t ready. When I inquired about when it would be ready the check in clerk said she didn’t know because she wasn’t in that particular building. She then asked for my phone number and would call us when the room was ready. Bear in mind that the occupancy of the hotel was minimal. It was like a ghost town, very few cars in the parking structure, almost no one in the Village. In fact in the three days we were there we never encountered another person on our floor or in the elevator.
Because of the poor cell service I just happened to see the message that the clerk sent me. We got into the room around 4:15.the room was okay but you had to be careful not to smash your fingers on the entry door hinges when opening the refrigerator. Excess charges was the last straw. Won’t return or recommend to others. Not a great experience, could be a great place.
The check in area was hard to find ... our GPS brought us to an empty construction lot nowhere near the resort. Once we got checked in it was good. The restaurants were a little slow, but we understood there was an event in the off season. We enjoyed our weekend at the SIDRA motorcycle race. We hope to come back next year and hope they will be running the lifts for the spectators to watch from the top.
For the money, tamarack resort is probably the greatest ski destination in the country? If you like low crowds, convenience, beauty, and great snow, this is the place!
We stayed in the Megeve building, room 320. The unit was beautiful and well-equipped. My only complaint is the lack of insulation between us and unit about us. Someone running, stomping and moving stuff. It continued well past midnight one night. My husband almost went to knock on their door. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay!
