It's a proper Tahoe sanctuary, unhurried, beautiful, and thoughtfully set up for families who want to actually unwind. Step outside to your large furnished deck for morning coffee and evening grilling on the 2025 Weber gas grill. Soak in the private hot tub under the stars. When the weather turns, gather around the wood-burning gas fireplace in a living room designed for long, lazy nights together. The living room hosts a 46-inch Sony LCD with Apple TV. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking with All-Clad cookware, an espresso machine, a gas stove with double oven, a well-stocked spice collection, and a breakfast bar that keeps the cook in good company. The dining room table seats up to 10. The Dollar Point facilities (pool, beach, and tennis courts) are available to short-term renters who are friends or family of the owners. Contact the owner for more information. This home is suitable for up to 8 adults and up to 6 children, for a total of 10 people. Just minutes from the home, there is outstanding bicycling on miles of paved bike trails that are separated from the roads. These trails traverse the West Shore to Rubicon Bay, and to Palisades and Alpine Meadows. There are also miles of mountain biking trails close by. The ski areas of Palisades and Alpine Meadows are 12-15 minutes away. Northstar is about 20 minutes away. We loved the location and the spacious accommodations of the property. The host was very attentive to our needs and we appreciated the plentiful supplies provided (kitchen, bath, etc.). This cozy property sleeps ten and comes prepared with all the amenities of home. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishwear/glasswear, pots, pans, linens, etc. There’s even a drawer full of spices and seasonings. We had everything we needed to set a beautiful Thanksgiving table and cook dinner for 7\. Additionally, the hot tub is great and the area is calm and serene, but with restaurants and snow activities nearby. We had a great stay! ##### Amy H. We stayed here with two families and one friend. We descended from various parts of the country, with folks flying in to two different airports! So it was tough to pack for winter weather and small children, but the accommodations were perfect for all of us and had everything we needed! The location is fantastic! We walked to the lake, did some sledding, and had a ski day, all in one weekend. The house is near everything you need, with stores, pharmacies and restaurants all with a few mins drive. It was without a doubt a great experience, the house is very nice, cozy, we felt at home. It has everything you need, the kitchen is very complete, the bathrooms are the same as the jacuzzi, the children loved it to relax. And best of all, we walked to the lake, we went for a walk and the neighbors were very friendly and the area was very quiet. We were able to relax and feel nature.
