The alternative entrance on the second floor provides direct access to Harris street from which the Fish market is just a stroll away, and to the covered footbridge that directly connects to the Convention Centre lightrail station and to the Harbourside Shopping Centre and the Hard Rock Cafe, from where it is a short pleasant walk to Cockle Bay Wharf and everything Darling Harbour has to offer -- the Sydney Aquarium, the Star Casino, the many restaurants and cafes... This one bedroom apartment is in excellent condition and tastefully furnished. It is totally self catering as the kitchen has a dishwasher and all necessary utensils and cookware. The bathroom has a washing machine and dryer. The gym, pool and sauna of the complex are accessible and included in the rates. Check in must be before 10pm- Access to the building after this time requires a fob. Pool/spa accecss is great also. Probably the best thing is the location - particularly if you have kids - as it's a short walk to either Darling Harbour and the food/kids play areas and the Light Rail. My only suggestions for improvement would be letting incoming guests know that access is either through the Oaks Hotel if using the front entrance or through the fourth storey of an adjoining carpark if arriving by light rail. Close to where we needed to be.Amenities mostly as described, easy to call a taxi from the lobby once you learned the trick..-sWalked in to find personal items strewn about. Owner was using the unit. When he returned to gather his items I asked him to take the wet swimsuits hanging in the vestibule. He ignored me but returned later to take them without alerting us (creepy as they were directly outside the bedroom window). Very offputting, but not the rental company's fault.Loud! Several highway ramps and a large hostel directly outside, every sound from the hallway, upstairs, and next door units inside.1 TINY garbage can for the ENTIRE unit and no extra garbage bags for a 5-night stay!?!Bedroom poorly set up, no stand on one side of bed for glasses or phone, bedframe so close to the door, stubbed toes are guaranteed. (Some) bathroom tiles so slick (even when dry) we both tweaked muscles sliding on them. Venting pushed and amplified sound into the bedroom, so no sound privacy if someone is in the bedroom.Couch bolsters rolled off if more than 1 person sat on it (no arms).Took 3 days to figure out the TV - instructions would have been helpful for foreigners.
