This semi-detached residence operates within Glebe's traditional cottage footprint while delivering spatial complexity through vertical volume and custom joinery. The one bedroom cottage sits close to Sydney Harbour's foreshore, with north facing outdoor space that captures winter sun and summer breezes.   
  
 Living & Entertaining   
Double height ceilings transform the main living zone, creating volume that belies the building's modest ground coverage. The entry level library nook with built-in daybed establishes the home's material palette, with timber floors flowing through to the kitchen and dining area. Custom built shelving, desk space and integrated seating maximise function without cluttering sight lines. Oversized skylights channel natural light deep into the plan, shifting the internal atmosphere as the day progresses.

The kitchen anchors the open plan arrangement, positioned to maintain visual connection across living and dining zones while you prepare meals. Integrated appliances sit within streamlined cabinetry, with a gas cooktop handling daily cooking requirements A dining table sits between kitchen and living areas, creating a natural gathering point for meals and hosting. The loft style bedroom occupies the upper mezzanine level, accessed via the main living area. Open storage solutions and exposed structural elements define the space, with the bed positioned to capture northern light through skylights above. A queen bed fits comfortably within the room's proportions, with the elevated position providing separation from ground floor activities.

A renovated bathroom sits between the entry library and study zones, featuring a walk-in shower and yellow tile. Combined washer and dryer handles laundry within the bathroom footprint. \- Glebe Living Glebe occupies a peninsula between Sydney Harbour and Blackwattle Bay, positioning you within the inner west's cultural corridor. The University of Sydney anchors the western edge, while the harbour foreshore provides immediate access to Sydney's coastal walking network. Newtown sits adjacent with King Street's independent retailers and music venues, while Alexandria's warehouse conversions and creative spaces spread south.  
\- Dining & Coffee Joe and Sal Glebe serve morning coffee and breakfast in a neighbourhood setting. Oh my Days Vegan Patisserie handles pastries and baked goods for plant based options. Lunch and dinner options span from Khao Hom Thai for casual Bangkok flavours to Hannibal Middle Eastern, and hot bowls of ramen at Ramen Goku. Drinks include The Toxteth Hotel for pub atmospheres, while Glebe Point Road maintains a string of cafes and wine bars along its length.  
\- Markets & Parks Glebe Markets fill Saturday mornings with vintage finds, food stalls, drinks and live music in the primary school grounds. The markets have operated since 1974, establishing themselves as an inner west institution for second hand goods and local crafts. Sydney Fish Market delivers the day's freshest catch within walking distance at Blackwattle Bay. Victoria Park offers green space for running or relaxation between the University of Sydney's grounds and inner west streets.  
\- Day Trips Bondi and Coogee sit thirty minutes east, with the coastal walk connecting beaches and headlands across six kilometres of clifftop track. The harbour foreshore spreads walking routes north through Balmain and Birchgrove to reach harbour headlands and bay beaches. Manly requires a harbour ferry crossing, placing northern beaches within easy reach while delivering harbour views during the journey.   
  
There are great public transport links around this property, and you’re welcome to bring your own car. If you don't have a car we recommend a car-sharing app such as Uber.
