Unfortunately on our 2nd night when we were out at a wedding, we received a text from the hosts advising that builders were coming at 8am to work on the cottage roof which was very odd given we had booked months ago. When they arrived they were very loud so we left for breakfast. It was lucky we weren’t the type to sleep in. That same day we came home in the afternoon to the hosts and their friends having a drink on the little verandah right outside the cottage which we were under the impression was part of the area we paid for, which was a bit awkward, however they did move once we went into the cottage. In general the accomodation and hosts are lovely, but it isn’t a very private spot with all noises from the house heard very clearly from the cottage as it is only a couple metres from the main dwelling.
