Mine was an off-season visit to this Lodge near the entrance to MT. Rainier National Park and White Pass ski area. It is a few miles outside of town, but well-maintained. The desk person was very friendly and helpful, and the property was pretty, and one could hear the Cowlitz River nearby.

Lovely, clean, and old- fashioned, with a really good restaurant. Rooms are small without TVs or wifi, but with Mount Rainier right outside, it's not that much of a hardship. Staff were particularly helpful and friendly.
