You are walking distance to the Crystal River Ranch clubhouse which has a playground, games, and my kids’ favorite: air hockey. Crystal River Ranch is a great place for young bikers to explore with minimal traffic and flat roads. There is access to the rivers via the picnic site (no fishing, stony; dangerous, but beautiful). The cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen bed on main floor and a large open rafter loft with a king and two twin beds. The beds are comfortable. The skylights let in some light and are openable. The propane stove does a nice job and sets the mood. The laundry room is by the front door, a good place to stash ski gear and pop it right in the dryer. Six people is the maximum, with one small bathroom, four or five people is comfortable. WAshington Trails Association is my go-to resource for hikes, providing all the info and recent trip reports. You can beat the traffic and be at the mountain in 20 minutes. Careful for ice on the road early in the morning. Internet is there to help you get the latest weather info and stay in touch with friends, as cell service is spotty. The internet is NOT high speed, it is not available. Elk are often in the yard. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, tools, and general ware. However, circumstance made the stay rough, the ISP had an Internet outage the entire time, little to none Verizon cell data coverage. I was barely prepared to have so little entertainment available due to no Internet, let alone no contact. This defined negatives of the experience. I recommend visitors be prepared to bring non-internet entertainment for their stay. Their own DVDs and multimedia. I have a ton of old DVDs I could have brought, but did not expect no Internet. Thankfully, the host did reimburse some money for the lack of marketed convenience. Also, there to go skiing mostly and the cell reception on the resort was good, that helped dampen the negatives. We wanted lodging close to the White River entrance to MRNP and this was the perfect location. All the beds were comfortable. There is a queen bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs with 3 beds. The kitchen and bathroom have the essentials but aren’t fancy. The large riverside neighborhood is beautiful for walking on streets and trails. We enjoyed seeing elk up close. ##### Doe K. There is a new comfy couch that's not in the photo. It's very cute and cozy inside. We had everything we needed. We were there for hiking. It was nice to come back to the cabin and take a hot shower or bath and make a meal. There is a nice deck out back to look out into the trees. I went over to the ranch to say hello to the horses. Rainier It worked well for us and was a great location for exploring Mt.Rainier. I would note that it does not have a lot of kitchen supplies and spices so bring your own. Place was clean and had all the little extra you don’t think about. Was nice that it had full dish ware and cooking items and nice bonus with keurig pods. Definitely recommend. ##### Jeff J.
