Indoor pool with broken heater. Room was ok with the exception of the bathroom. Shower rod looked like it was used as a chin up bar and no liner for the shower curtain. No shower matt because housekeeping is not provided the items to maintain room. Empty vending machines. 1 ice machine for entire building. Too much room noise from interstate and local traffic. (244 reviews) Staff was courteous but the room was not spotless. There was hair on the shower walls, marijuana buds on the floor behind the trash can (so they didnt sweep there or mop obviously), and the shower floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in weeks. I brought a bottle of bleach into the room and scrubbed the shower floor and sanitizied the bathroom before I used it and I stayed for 1 night. Staff at check in was very pleasant. I removed my linens and trash before I checked out at 7 am and left a 2$ tip. I hope they took the time I saved them and utilized it to do a better job cleaning the room. I realize corporations set unreal expectations for housekeeping staff so I try not to blame the actual hard workers who are expected to turn down a room in 13 or 23 minutes, whatever the ridiculously low handle time is.. This is not a water park it’s a swimming hole along the Swannee River. Bob who still sits out there with us helping us sit on the rope swings correctly. There are 2 slides and a lot of river fun for all river ages. Even the little kids like to go on the bigger rope swings.
