Staff was not friendly at the front desk.
Bed was uncomfortable
Shower head in ceiling only got my head wet
Towels were rough and stiff
Coffee was terrible
Was the most expensive option in Sudbury and was well below my expectations

Reception worker during check in was unhelpful and rude.
The room next door had an alarm going off for my entire stay. Went to the front desk twice and found no reception worker.
Pool was freezing cold (watched multiple children excited and once touching the water were upset. Jets in hot tub didnt work. While having a shower, the hot water would stop every 3 minutes and get freezing cold. The view from the room was terrible as well.
Was unaware they dont take cash or debit for the safety deposit. Ive booked multiple times through expedia for hotels all around Sudbury and have always used debit/Mastercard for the safety. There is no note of it on their website, only a piece of paper once you get to the hotel that states it.

I am so sorry to hear of your experience. We are addressing the issues at the Front Desk this week. As for the pool we were unaware of the pool temp dropping. Once we saw this, that's when you knew there was an issue. Again so sorry for you experience and we hope that you decide to stay with us again so we can redeem ourselves.
It’s pretty Mc - don’t like hotel rooms with plastic cups - not when the room cost almost $200. Also breakfast offerings are also lame plus plastic utensils and foam plates screams Super 8.

My family enjoy the pool and hot tub when we come, we only choose to stay at microtel, the uncluded hot breakfast is amazing, we really love the options. The only real negative I have is the evening staff dont seem to want to be there at all, morning staff are awesome!

Initial appearance is clean with carpet and some other features outdated. Check in was smooth.
Bare with the “extras” small soap and shampoo. Beds are comfy. After our first night of sleep at the Microtel we left at 9:30 am to head out on our planned day. We met the housekeeper prior to when she was in hall and we mentioned to her we will be leaving shortly and would love if our room was serviced. She said answered yes and we moved on with our day. When we arrived back to our room later that day at 7:45pm we found our room wasn’t cleaned, beds not made (no personal items were on bed) only 1 trash was emptied while three others were full and no clean towels. Our room clearly wasn’t serviced. We notified front desk to find her being the ONLY staff on for the evening and apologized regarding the room not being cleaned. She also couldn’t leave the desk being she was the only girl there so that is fine we went and got our clean towels. She notified that housekeeping often won’t clean bathrooms if the door is even remotely closed and or personal belongings are out….our door to the bathroom wasn’t closed and also how ridiculous even if that is their protocol. So you can’t have your face wash on the sink? How does that explain the garbage not being taken out that’s heaping. I feel for well over $200 a night a quick clean to the room isn’t a lot to ask. Front desk girl mentioned too if there are belonging at all on the bed they won’t make the bed. There was no belongings on the bed.

I am sorry to hear of your experience. There is some miscommunication with our front desk staff on what housekeepers do and don't. She is from another property and seems to be getting mixed up. As for your housekeeper it is being currently discussed with her by our housekeeping supervisor. Again this is not a level of service we pry ourselves on, and I do hope that you will give us another chance so we may redeem ourselves. Hope to see you again.
