"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and quiet. Very unique and pleasant surroundings, being right on the creek. We enjoyed hearing the creek at night as we slept, and drinking morning coffee over looking the trout pond. The place is very clean and easy to stay at. The owner is friendly and helpful. Feeding the fish is pretty fun! There are many beautiful places near here to visit and enjoy. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. "

"It’s a good location to do everything Northern east coast from Mackinac Island to Tawas and points inland. The cabin is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in there anyway. Communication with the host was/is excellent and timely. The screen on the door needed repair when we arrived, but I contacted the host to inform them that it was like that when we arrived, so all was good. We enjoyed the beach, Oscoda, Tawas, and Alpena are all nearby and have lots to do and see. From Lumberman’s Monument, Iargo Springs, Kayaking, and the Sky Bridge, all within a couple hours… it can’t be beat. "

"Just myself and my dog as the kids were unable to make it but it was great to walk the dog down the beach so much and he loved the sand. Fire pit was great and all provisions provided yet I didn’t use coffee machine. If you like making coffee you should bring your own machine. I’m glad I brought mine. Nice bedroom but no ac in that room in particular so had to get the kitchen ice cold for it to get cool but then again I like a cold bedroom. A very peaceful retreat as Bo one was in the home in the property the entire time I was there so had all the outside space to myself. Loved the pet station, so handy and appreciated. Lots of extra wood for fireplace and fire pit which was very nice. Couldn’t close screen on patio due to all the cobwebs and bugs inside it. A lot of bugs are on the side of it in the mornings so that sort of freaked me out. Loved the keyless entry too so that was handy when I made sightseeing trips and long walks on the beach. Even had a lot of water for me which was appreciated. "

"The beach and house were amazing. The stairs look scary but can take breaks and it’s a good workout! Definitely highly recommend this place plus the beach was all sand at the water entry. Completely gorgeous to have your coffee and watch the sunrise while the kids still are sleeping. We were lucky to catch a rainbow without rain over the water as well. Perfect place for bliss and peacefulness. (Totally fits the name)."
