Close to the marina we were launching from. Since we brought two bass boats loaded with gear, the secure gates gave us piece of mind at night knowing our vehicles and boats were safe. So, Emilio's house was absolutely perfect for our 4 day stay. We needed comfort and peace for preparation and reflection and it provided both. We had our morning time to get ready for the very busy day, and then we had our evenings to review, plan the next day and relax and listen to music of the band my brother played in for 40+ years. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more- we appreciated the extra towels and blankets available for our use as well as the water bottles in the fridge upon arrival and the kids loved grabbing a piece of candy from the welcome bowl. The house is clean and spacious and the yard is huge with so many tables and trees, plus a quick walk to the delta in the back allowed us to go fishing and my girls caught 3 perch. The kitchen is fully stocked and this truly felt like coming to a friend’s home- it was comfortable and ready for us to enjoy. We would definitely come back and rent this home again. We enjoyed our stay at this home, it has a nice large fenced yard, and a nice deck on top of the home that has a view of the river through the trees. The amenities were fine. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars was the ice maker in the freezer had mold (probably from infrequent use) so we had to buy bag ice, and the pillows in the master bed room were pretty flat.
