The room was a good size, however there was a bit of damage to the walls, marks on the tv, one of the plug sockets didn’t work at the bedside and the toilet door was almost like it was hanging off the rails which was a bit strange. Unfortunately our toilet stopped working when on the first day and we had noticed that the water from the tap was cloudy which suggested it had been off. Our stay at Friars Wynde was a treat x Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was warm and had everything you need .Being situated in the city centre makes it easy to access anything and everything you need Overnight was about a 5 minute walk from hotel but hotel has parking at back of hotel to use to take luggage through back entrance. Now we’re stuck in the back of the hotel with no food and we’re like I said sick and weak. They don’t provide any amenities at all. No food, no ice etc. hotels.com needs to make them remove the listing as it’s false advertising. Not fair to us. They know we’re sick and offer. Nothing. If I owned this hotel I would go and get my customers something to eat.
