Welcome to your cozy mountain retreat in Steamboat Springs! This charming studio + loft condo at The Rockies is a delightful garden-level getaway, perfect for couples or small families. Located just a 5-minute walk (400–500 yards) from the ski base area and Gondola Square, it’s your ideal home base for year-round adventure.

Spacious, Sunny, and Inviting
Vaulted ceilings and large picture windows with views of Emerald Mountain give this studio a bright and open feel, while the tasteful mountain-style décor keeps it warm and welcoming.

The main level features:
. Queen sleeper sofa in the living area
. Flat-screen TV and comfortable furnishings
. Galley-style kitchen with full-size appliances and bar seating for three
. Full bathroom with a tiled tub/shower combo and vanity
. Private ski locker just outside the unit

Head up the wrought iron spiral staircase to the loft bedroom, where you’ll find:
. A spacious king-size bed
. Sunshade on the upper windows to keep the loft cool and dark for restful sleep

This spot is great - very close to the ski area and also close to the grocery store. Pretty quiet, although I did occasionally hear the upstairs neighbor walking around. Check in/out was a breeze and parking was super easy as well. A couple of things that could be improved upon include: having coffee filters for the coffee maker and enough coffee for the guest to make a pot for each day of stay; ice cube trays in the freezer; a notepad and pen; notify the guest that the fireplace is turned off during summer months; and a notification to the guest that the hot water takes FOREVER to get hot! But, I would totally stay again given the opportunity!

Wonderful Stay in Steamboat Springs

Great location, less than a half-hour commute from Yampa Valley Regional Airport, and conveniently located minutes away from ski slopes, restaurants, shopping, and hot springs. Unit was spotless and nestled in quiet and picturesque setting.

Perfect stay for couple

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway and day hikes in the area. This place was lovely! Great location, close to restaurants and stores. We were only 6 miles from our first hike of our stay. King bed was very comfortable. Definitely bring condiments, coffee filters, etc. as the place is pretty much bare when you get there. My husband did not like the spiral staircase, but there is an awesome motion sensor light that comes on at night for bathroom trips. Sleeping next to the outer stairwell, I heard a few people going up and down very early in the morning, but I am a super light sleeper so I hear everything on trips and forgot to bring my white noise machine. :) lovely place overall!

Clean, cozy, comfortable.

Had a very nice stay, and my only complaint would be that it takes a couple minutes for the hot water to actually get hot in the shower, but that's easily worked around, so still get 5/5. 👍

Nice!

The unit was small but adequate for our 2 night stay. We use to own a condo in SS and was good to be back after several years. The spiral staircase up to the nice king sized bed was a little inconvenient to the bathroom on the fist floor. Floor to ceiling windows captured views from both levels. We, at age 75 made it work and would recommend. Good location.

Solid budget stay for two

It was about what I expected. Quaint but affordable and perfect for me and my girlfriends ski trip. The place had an odd smell, but that was the only complaint of the actual property. Other than that, the check in and out process could take place at the actual property.
