Location, Location, Location! • Ski-in/ski-out access just a 3-minute walk away! Skip the hassle of parking, lugging gear, or corralling tired kids (I was carrying my own skis down this short walk by age 4!). From there, ski down and then hop on the gondola! We love the spaciousness of the condo and its proximity to the mountain. The description and the photographs were spot on! The condo is dated, which wasn’t an issue at all. You definitely need a vehicle if you’re gonna be staying here as it is quite difficult to get shuttles from that location, although it’s not impossible. The only reason why I deducted a star was because when we arrived, although it was extremely cold, it took two days for the apartment to come up to temperature. The rooms upstairs were incredibly hot at night and the first floor was very, very cold. We did happen to arrive during an incredibly cold part of the season. The aesthetic is definitely retro and the circular staircase is not for the faint of heart. But the furniture is comfy and the views are beautiful. Bus stop is just down from the parking lot and you can travel most places in Steamboat by bus which is free. Having all of the sleeping areas upstairs was not a problem but the circular stairs to the sleeping areas might be difficult for some people.
