"A lovely unique boutique hotel. Located within a easy walk from the ferry terminal. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony had a small table with chairs and I enjoyed lounging in the hammock. Breakfast was tasty, coffee, juice, fruit, sweet bread, toast and eggs served in different style daily. This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Thank-you! "

"We were very well greeted. The staff made the check in easy and also provided helpful information regarding the area and places to go. The rooms are large and clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is simple and the staff very kind. Location is perfect close to the main street with great restaurants and 5 minute walk to the ferry. "

"We started our stay in an Ocean front room which had the most fabulous, large deck facing the ocean and main street. It was perfect for watching the Carnival parades. Our last night we had to move which the staff made seamless. Our second room was pretty much the same except the deck was smaller but we could still see part of the ocean and a little of the parade route. What made it a little disappointing was the fact there weren't any robes and we had half the TV channels, the English ones were gone. I would highly recommend this Hotel and if you want an Ocean front room book well inadvance. "

"Overall resort quality was good. Staff were professional. Recommendation: more water filling stations. Snorkeling off resort was amazing. (octopus, stingrays, lion fish, urchins, sea stars, needle fish, tons of tropical fish.) Food was always good with a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. No shortage of chairs. "

"This is a fantastic place, 100% will return. The people who own and run it are observant and really go out of their way to give you the exact experience you're looking for. Our room was completely spotless, clean neat. And there was everything you need for your stay, wven a few things I hadn't thought of like a couple of shopping bags for our use. Courtyard garden was comfortable, location is close to centro but quiet, pool gets sunlight so is great to use. Water was hot, great pressure, air worked....everything you want. Thanks for the great stay!"

"We had an excellent stay at Kippal and would return again. The condo was very clean and spacious for 2 adults. We enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the large deck size which provided a nice place to relax. The terrace / pool at the top of the building was a great place to spend time in the sun and enjoy the incredible view offered. Upon arrival we were missing espresso mugs for the Nespresso maker and no electrical adapter for the hair dryer. The staff immediately provided these missing items in the room. The service of the staff was excellent throughout our stay including room cleaning, answering our questions, supplying more coffee pods, calling taxis and holding our luggage after our stay. Every staff member was very friendly. The hotel is located in the city, so there is normal city noise - barking dogs, some traffic and there was also construction ongoing across the street. We like some noise so this was fine for us. The location is ideal for being away from the cruise ship traffic, but still walkable to the main city area, many restaurants and a few blocks away from the large grocery store."

"The Mary Carmen is a great little hotel just off the main square in St. Miguel de Cozumel. The rooms are air-conditioned, clean, the beds comfortable. The windows face into the courtyard. Breakfast is available for a fee but there is also a kitchen available for guests to use with a cook top, microwave, coffee maker and communal fridge. We once stayed there for a month and it worked well. The tap water is not potable but 2 water dispensers are available for guest use. The highlight is the turtles that live in the courtyard. They are very entertaining to watch and to search for amongst the plants. Don't expect the Hilton but the Mary Carmen is clean, convenient and the staff are friendly and helpful. "
