Furniture was stained, dirty and broken (I had them remove a chair from my room during check in so I wasn’t blamed for it). Very dated and well worn though I could tell they were trying to keep it clean. The rooms have no soundproofing and just the dropping of objects on the floor from upstairs guest was loud. I only stayed 1 of the 3 nights I booked. The ocean views, busy street with plenty of people to watch makes it a place one is never bored. Close to food and entertainment. Rooms are always clean, and front desk clerks are always super friendly and willing to assist with anything. Beds are harder but comfortable for us. Ocean view room was fantastic and the price was great. The only downfall, which I'm guessing is common in older Cozumel hotels was the water pressure in the shower was low and it takes about 15 minutes or more of running the water for it to get hot. The Malecon and ocean are right across the street. The view from the balcony is excellent. It’s also within walking distance to the ferry terminal, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They deliver complimentary coffee and pasties to your room every morning, so that’s an added bonus. The negative aspect of this location, is the all day street and traffic noise.
