"Great for dogs and their human companions. Lots of attention to detail here, like comfy bedrooms with luxury blankets and snacks/beverages. Breakfast excellent. Staff friendly and welcoming. We loved it and our Golden Retriever was spoiled rotten."

"Stayed two nights at Middle Studfold Farm and what a fantastic experience. Jan and Edd were extremely welcoming and helpful. Plenty of recommendations for food and hikes. Tasty breakfast each morning and great conversation. We opted for a packed lunch one of the days. Room was perfect and very comfortable beds. Well stocked coffee and teas in the room, with fresh milk available. Great Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. "

"Clean, comfortable, welcoming and warm. Excellent communication from staff re checkin etc.. and quick to respond. We arrived in the dark and would just say the ‘main’ entrance wasn’t very clear as very little lighting, so I think that is the only thing to improve really. "

"I travelled by train. Note that the hotel is nearer to Settle station than Giggleswick station. There is a decent size car park at the back and a few spaces in front, although I obviously didn't use them. Buses stop outside but I'm not sure how frequent. Breakfast is included in the price. I particularly enjoyed the full English; the smoked salmon and poached eggs were also very good. Dinner is available in the restaurant; a bit dearer than what I'd normally pay, but worth it for the quality. The single room was small but adequate with a bed and a dressing table/ desk. As well as a kettle in the room, they provide complimentary bottled water and fruit juice. Also fresh milk."

"Excellent few days in this lovely olde world little cottage. All modern heating, lighting, smart tv, bathroom with excellent shower, kitchen with microwave etc but in a quaint setting. River Ribble a with its many ducks only a couple of yards from back yard with outdoor seating.walking distance from Settle and many lovely walks both short and long from the door. Add to the aforesaid a very comfy double bed I recommend this little haven."

"It is amongst the cleanest of this sort of accommodation I've stayed in and that's the biggest draw - as an asthmatic and having stayed in a few properties in the area that have bad black mould and were dusty, the cleanliness is super important to me. There are a few things that could be updated in the property/some little things that could be provided to make a week's stay easier but nothing that puts me off booking. Very, very comfortable beds and the area is perfectly quiet at night. For us, Langcliffe is a great option as there are some lovely walks from the door, and is just a 15 / 20 minute walk from Settle proper, the perfect distance for a post-prandial or post pint walk in the evenings."
