"Lovely private uncrowded beach. Even in highseason Feb we could always get 3 seats on the beach. Lovely ,white sandy beach. Helpful friendly staff. Good location, close to Bridgetown for restaurants... but in the evening a taxi is really needed about $13 US . "We were very lucky to find this place to stay during recent travel disruptions due to weather. The guest house is in a more residential part of Bridgetown away from the tourist area. It has extensive grounds where you can walk, sit, and observe monkeys, turtles, pet dogs, and nature. It is very peaceful and a great value. It is about USD 20 to take a car to the beach and tourist restaurants. The breakfast is simple. The proprietor is very kind and helped us out when we needed a room during multiple flight cancellations. We were in a recently renovated suite that was clean and nicely decorated. If you are looking for someplace that’s not fancy but has a lot of charm and is a terrific value, definitely stay here. "

"Location pretty much requires a car, but has a gated parking area. It IS walkable to downtown, just more convenient with a car. There were 3 of us and each had a bedroom. Although we only stayed 3 days we didn’t use the kitchen facilities but we could have made our own meals there. Good air conditioning in each bedroom and living area. Host Alvon was very accommodating and made sure our needs were met. Will likely stay there again when in Barbados. "
