Welcome to Shipwatch, a family friendly complex right on the beach where this condo will have all of the necessities for a perfect beach vacation. There is some excellent restaurants within walking distance or you can prepare your own meals in the full kitchen. Supplied with the condo is 2 beach cruiser bikes, some beach chairs, beach towels, a few beach toys, and a cart to haul everything down there and back. The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed and other bedroom has 2 twins. Nothing over the top and easy access to all parts of St. Simmons. Yes it's a little bit of a walk to the beach from the condo, but its a very easy walk with private access. The unit we rented was dirty and many "small" things needed repair, none of them would be costly but I don't pay for vacation to stay where things are dirty and in disrepair. From handbar in tub/shower falling down, curtain rod fell down whenever we tried to open drapes, missing knobs on light switches, sliding doors nearly impossible to open (& 1 did not lock), no pillowcases on at least 2 of the bed pillows (where only 4 in entire condo), sheets did not fit the twin beds, bedspreads for all 4 beds need to be cleaned. All in all, we were disappointed with the condition. We have achieved and maintained the highest rating as guests on VRBO so I am not being nitpicky!
