This historic place has excellent restaurants and wonderful shops as well as bicycle trails, golf courses and tennis courts. The beach itself is very wide, ideal for walking, biking, flying kites, playing games or just relaxing. The famous King and Prince Resort was voted "Georgia's Favorite Beach Resort" by the readers of Southern Living. You can affordably stay at this resort in this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath ocean view condominium which is tastefully decorated with comfort in mind. The balcony features wonderful views and ocean breezes. The condominium complex offers a private pool, hot tub, gas grills and secure, gated parking. The unit has its own assigned covered parking space. Our guests can walk to the village and the pier on the beach or back roads. Some of the best restaurants on the island and bike rental are located just a couple of blocks from the unit. You will have access to all of the King and Prince Resort amenities including pools and jacuzzi, outdoor gas grills, the Echo Dining Room in the lobby of the King & Prince Hotel, fitness room, tennis courts, business center, and access to Hampton Golf Course. The condo was fine but needs to be updated. There were two light bulbs missing or out. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off for about an hour Saturday around midnight which was frustrating. But all in all we had a nice time. We would stay at the King and Prince again but find one that had a more ocean view and was more updated. Everyone at Georgia Coast Reality was wonderful!! Certainly not worth the price tag. Well we expected it to be very dated from the photos (bedding, table, TVs Etc) we did not expect any of the following. Pans were all trash couldn’t even use because the Teflon was so bad. Outlets needed GFI reset when we got there. One Outlet didn’t even have a cover! So many electrical cords everywhere. We have a 10 month old! Super dangerous and where we are from this is a major violation. Shower curtain both had mildew. Master bed is super hard, squeaky and old. The island is quiet and has some outstanding restaurants. The actual unit is over priced for what you get. Though it has a great view, the quality of the furnishings, flooring and appliances is less than what we offer in a similar unit on Hilton Head Island for half the price. I am guessing most of the furnishings came from resale shops.
