The room was very clean and has everything you need. Breakfast is plentiful. Anna is helpful. Good value for money. The place looks a little tired in places. Location is good.
Anna was so helpful in organising our late arrival, guidance and key was awaiting. The Jersey English breakfast offered a choice of items.Cerals ,juice toast and spreads with hot drinks all good considering it was inclusive of room price.
Room airy ,clean and offered all the basics.
Location ideal for bus trips ,walks and places to eat, as we were car free.We would return again ,so thats the best compliment to Anna and her team.
Like a time-warp from the 1960's, steep, narrow stairs with no lift, no porterage, never anybody on reception, generally poor lighting, many lounge bulbs out, no USB ports and seemingly well under-staffed.
Having said that, it did what it said on the tin. The location was perfect for us visiting family in the area, the breakfast adequate, the rooms were serviced daily and it would have ben considered top-of-the-range about 1963. You get what you pay for.

Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room was described as basic which it was so that didn’t surprise me. I do however think that, if they purchased a mattress topper and some half decent pillows then my stay would have been much better. The room was tired and in need of some new (not expensive) furniture which would have made the experience so much better.
The breakfast was good and cooked to order.
You get what you pay for but a few small adjustments would have made the difference.
We stayed here for 6 nights in August. The room was clean but looked like the room I would have stayed in in the 70s. Washbasin in the corner of room and the small shower and toilet was in the other corner. The mattress was springs which were very uncomfortable and old. Tea and coffee facilities - 2 teabags a day which was insufficient as we wanted a drinks in the evening and morning. Each day the bed was remade but the cups were not washed and the tray they were one was dirty. Breakfast was very basic, cereal and toast (both which were value products from supermarket). The cooked breakfast was okay but bacon and eggs overcooked.
We hardly ever saw any staff and Anna popped her head in the breakfast room and just said hello. Used ladies toilet and there was no hot water (tap taped up), soap or hand towels and the light didn't work. Floorboards on rooms above us creaked so every time someone got up in the night, you were woken up. Never anyone on reception to report any issues.
Would not recommend this guest house and would prefer to pay extra for a decent hotel.
Only positive things were the beach was practically opposite the hotel and we always got a parking space

Sewold is very good value for money
Central to the Island
Added bonus with parking
Rooms are dated - but tidy & clean
Breakfast was good & a good choice
Anna couldn’t do enough very efficient & friendly 😊
Would deffo stay there again & recommend to friends
room simple but sufficient, service friendly and helpful.
Well situated: public bus station to airport and St.Hellier only few metres away, short way to the beach. Three restaurants/pubs and supermarket near. Car parking to the house.
We liked the accomodation
Great stay, Anna was lovely and very helpful. Rooms are basic but clean, breakfast was good, a good choice.
Easy access to buses everywhere, pubs with food options within easy walking distance. St Aubin is a 2 min ride away and has lots of restaurants. St Hellier is a 15min bus journey Great stay.

Breakfast was good.
Great location.
Room was clean.
Property just a little tired.
Perfect location right on top of the bus stop if using public transport. Short walk into St Albans and a lovely longer beach walk into St Helier.
Fab value for money, comfortable and clean.
Warm welcome by Anna. Clean comfortable room. Communal area with fridge was very useful. Delicious breakfast. Off road parking. Coop in walking distance. Quiet location.
Easy access to regular buses. Very clean, rooms were cleaned every day. Nice dining room for breakfast and comfortable lounge to relax in.
I would have liked an occasional choice of cooked breakfast as well as continental..
We enjoyed our stay at the Southwold.
The manager Anna, was very accommodating, and changed my room without me asking because of my height. And gave me one with a larger bed.
A cooked traditional English breakfast was available, with cereals, toast, orange juice, tea and coffee.
Tea and coffee was always in the bedroom. And was cleaned every day.
Overall a good place to stay.
Lovely accommodation in a great location for getting around the island. Breakfast was basic but was a good start for the day. Room was clean and comfortable with everything you needed.
Prompt at replying to messages and we were able to keep our room on for the day which was very helpful.
Would definitely recommend and next time visiting Jersey would stay again at Seawold
My second visit. Very clean guesthouse. Basic but adequate breakfast.
Anna and the rest of the staff are very friendly.
Great location between St Helier and St Aubin.
Airport bus stops outside Seawold.
Would certainly return
A cozy B&B at a very reasonable price with a beach right opposite the property. The lady who runs the B&B is very kind and polite and knows what she is doing.
The breakfast which is included in the fare is a good English breakfast with unlimited bread and cereal, juice and tea coffee.
There is a coop close to the property which allows you to get groceries.
If you're looking for beach facing restaurants then it's about a 20-25 minute walk or a couple minute drive.
In all, for the price, an absolutely worth it stay.
Anna is amazing without her this place would not function. Its not an easy establisment to run due to its age and needs updating inside. That said the breakfast is great and the rooms kept incredibly clean. The road is noisy but is to be expected being on a main road. The location is great for both coast and country and St Helier with parking outside its brilliant.
Had a lovely stay, a very nice guest house with all you need for a stay. Lovely shared lounge where you can eat and use the fridge , glasses, plates and cutlery. Towels for use for the beach as well as for in the room. Lovely seating area outside the front.
A lot of traffic at front of guest house slept with windows open and was very soothing and meditative. Such a great location for the beach, walks, shop and buses.
Anna is a lovely host and is so accommodating.
Room ok. Water pressure in shower very poor.
Very good breakfast and very pleasant girl serving breakfast
Great location close to St Helier, St Aubin and on bus route to airport

The perfect base for those exploring Jersey
We had a very nice stay, Anna was very attentive and was the perfect host. Breakfasts were good with plenty of fresh food to chose from. Our room was a little bit dated, we had to wait a few minutes for the hot water to warm up and our toilet needed more than one flush. But overall, it was the perfect place to stay and to go out exploring the lovely island of Jersey from. Conveniently situated near restaurants, pubs etc and excellent for a long walk along St Aubins Bay.
Thank you Anna for making our 7 night break so enjoyable xx

Excellent location, comfortable room with lots of space.
For me it was a little dated, the property could benefit from updating.
The breakfast is below par, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, sliced cheese, toast and ham, not the most appealing of “English Breakfast” as offered, I don’t feel this constitutes an English Breakfast.
We spent 3 nights at this guest house and loved it. Anna, the host, was courteous and helpful. We arrived in Jersey on an early-morning flight and checked with Anna if we could leave our luggage there. She kindly offered to let us check in at 10am as there was a room available.
We had a family room which was comfortable and clean. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. The guest house is 3 min walk to Goose, a lovely local pub where we had dinner twice and loved it. The internet speed in our room was extremely fast and the guest house has a spacious lounge area with games and books provided. The guest house is literally across from the beach and conveniently located on a bus/cycling route between St Helier and Saint Aubin. It takes around 20 min to go to the airport by bus. There’s nothing to complain and full English breakfast is included so good value for money overall.
