Enter into the tranquility of a Japanese-style home interior near historic Old Town St Charles. The house is a symphony of handcrafted woodwork. The floors are polished bamboo and maple; mahogany, teak, mango, and oak furnishings. After taking a walk through Old Town, going on a ghost tour, or watching a movie in our home theater (theater seating, 86inch LG screen, Sony sound) or cooking a meal in our fully-equipped kitchen, you can drift to sleep in luxury bedding, Sleep2Win 14" mattresses and soft stone-washed sheets

Long weekend in St. Charles
This was hands down one of the nicest VRBOs I've stayed in. The property is lovely, incredibly clean and has a very comfortable living space. The hosts were gracious, welcoming and very prompt in communicating. The neighborhood was safe (and a great area for walking to see some neat old homes). We will absolutely book again when in the area!

Another wonderful stay
This was our second year in a row staying here and this time was just as nice as the last. Everything is clean and the owners leave some nice touches for your stay. Great communication also. We love being so close to Main Street and Streets of St Charles too.

Perfect Stay for Our Party of Six
This property was perfect for our group of three couples. The home was immaculately-kept, well stocked with kitchen and bath essentials, and perfect for the six of us to spread out. We binged Jury Duty (highly recommended, if you haven't already watched it!) in the theater room each evening and relaxed with books in the living room each morning. Unfortunately, it was too hot for us to enjoy the outdoor patio, but we'll save that for another visit. The home is also in a great location--just a quick car- or bike ride into downtown St. Charles for shopping, dinner, the Katy Trail, etc. I would highly recommend this property!

Zen getaway!
This property was wonderful! When we arrived, we walked into low lighting and beautiful spa-type music and we immediately wanted to just sit down and relax! It is obvious that the owners put a lot of thought and care into making this home comfortable and inviting. The outdoor seating area was a bonus, and they added an awning over it so when it began to rain we could still sit out. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful!
Clean, comfortable, welcoming - the Maple Tree Japanese house exuded these qualities to the highest degree! The beds and pillows were so comfortable, every surface was spotless. The back patio provided a great place to sit and wind down every evening. The location is convenient to the historic district, other shopping and restaurant and the interstate. The neighborhood is charming and very walkable. Communication with the host was prompt. We would happily return for another stay! A big thank you to our hosts.
