The Space:
The Canary Loft is a cheerful, design-led escape just a short walk from everything that makes St Julian’s so loved, from sandy beaches to seaside cafés and lively nightlife. The apartment takes its name from its character, with warm yellow tones, teal accents, curated artwork and natural textures creating a space that feels bright, playful and instantly welcoming.
Inside, the open-plan layout has been designed for comfort and ease. The living area is cosy and air-conditioned, with a comfortable sofa that unfolds into a full-size bed, suitable for an additional adult or two children. Natural light fills the room, and soft fabrics paired with warm colours give it a boutique-style feel. The bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with a double bed, crisp linens, soft pillows, blackout curtains and its own air-conditioning unit for a restful sleep.
A thoughtful feature of the apartment is its bathroom setup. There is a main bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink and storage, as well as a separate toilet. This means that anyone sleeping in the living area does not need to pass through the bedroom at night, giving everyone greater privacy.
The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make staying in just as enjoyable as going out. You will find everything you need, including an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and a washing machine for longer stays. The Neighborhood:
The Canary Loft is located in the heart of St Julian’s, one of Malta’s most vibrant coastal towns. You are close to everything, yet tucked on a quiet residential street where you can relax at the end of the day.
A short eight-minute walk takes you to the nearest beach, perfect for a morning swim or sunset stroll. Spinola Bay is also nearby, famous for its colourful fishing boats, seafront cafés and restaurants overlooking the water.
If you are looking to experience Malta’s nightlife, Paceville is around fifteen minutes away on foot. Here you will find bars, clubs, lounges and late-night eateries, all within easy reach but far enough from the apartment to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.
Supermarkets, convenience shops, bakeries, bus stops and coffee spots are all just a few minutes away. From the apartment, you can also walk to the promenade that connects St Julian’s to Sliema, lined with beach clubs, ice-cream kiosks and beautiful sea views.
Getting Around:
St Julian’s is easy to explore on foot, and many of the area’s highlights are close to the apartment. The beach, Spinola Bay and the seafront promenade are all within a short walk.
Public transport is very convenient. The nearest bus stop is just a five-minute walk from the front door and offers direct routes to Valletta, Sliema, Mdina and other popular parts of the island. Buses run regularly throughout the day.
Taxis and ride-hailing services such as Bolt and eCabs are widely available and usually arrive within minutes.
Parking in the area is public and on-street. Spaces can be limited during busy periods, so it is a good idea to allow a little extra time if you are arriving by car.
From the waterfront, you can also find ferries, boat tours and day cruises, making it easy to explore Malta from the sea as well.
