Location was close to downtown St Johns so easy access to restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Not too close to be disturbed by late night noise. Property is a little run down but comfortable enough. The rooms have a kitchenette but you have to ask at the desk for any pans etc... The complimentary breakfast is just cold cereal and prepackaged pastries.

The first room we were given had not been cleaned from the last person staying in it. The second room was cleaned but was not fully equipped. These rooms have a 2 burner stove, refrigerator, microwave and cabinets as you would have in a small kitchen but absolutely no utensils. No forks, no spoons, no pots, no pans, no bowls, no coffee cups (except the 2 paper ones near the coffee pot). This made the kitchen area absolutely useless! So unlike the extended stay places we have stayed before. Very disappointed.

Very good overall! Just beware the "double bunk beds" are not double, they are single. However, they were kind and accomodated us with a rolling bed.

Big improvement

We have stayed here often in the last 3 years. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in this time. The property was in need of TLC and it has been receiving it. It has been given a thorough cleaning and paint job. A handiman has put in a lot of hours addressing the little items that had gone wrong. We were very impressed and look forward to our next stay.

The room was spacious and also had a small kitchenette. It offered a complimentary continental breakfast, and the coffee was good. I was genuinely pleased with this property, my only complaint would be the shower head could be bigger.

Hotel allowed great access to siteseeing

Great stay in St. John's. Hotel is Clean, staff was helpful. Location was perfect easy access to just about anywhere you wanted to site see...car, bus or walking. Lots of great food options close by and lots to see and enjoy.

Was a good stay here!! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful as I had some delays due to weather and my flight being cancelled. The room was standard, clean, all you really need to sleep and rest throughout the day. Would stay here again!!

Les agents à l’accueil sont très sympathiques l’hôtel est très bien situé (restaurants ...) Il y a du très bon café à volonté, le petit déjeuner est très correct. Buanderie sur place très appréciée. Déçue du ménage dans la salle de bain qui était très moyen. Peut-être dû à un manque de temps de la femme de ménage. J’y retournerai quand même. Rapport qualité prix correct.
