Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic large family room, great breakfast and a relaxing and comfortable little bar lounge. It was very clean and everything was in new condition with new carpets, electric shower brand new too, wardrobe big and drawers enough to accommodate our clothes etc. The owners are always there so if you need anything they will help you right away. The breakfast was really nice, proper full English. There was also pre packed pan au chocolat, croissants, waffles, jams, coffee, tea, juice etc. It has a nice fireplace where you can sit and relax after a long day out and enjoy the beers they have on tap. I had a chat with the owners and they seem to keep updating the hotel all the time and to be honest it looks updated as well. All in all we were happy with everything around this hotel, including their gorgeous cat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Countryman. Lovely spacious room - super comfy master bed, clean, nicely decorated. The breakfast included was exceptional. Friendly and helpful hosts.
