Third time I've staed here. Excellent location. All the rooms have been remodeled and are very clean. Decent breakfast and again you can't beat the location.
It was convenient that this was a stop for the trolley tour!

Liked: Staff & service
Location was central to all St Augustine attractions. Hotel property could be better maintained by cleaning trash around common areas. Hotel would benefit from fresh paint and newer blinds and curtains. Other than that, breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Place was cleaning and updated but was not updated to a very high standard. That being said it was perfect for staying with work and the breakfast was surprisingly good.
Easy walking distance to Fort, Pedestrian Area, Fountain of Youth. Tour Trolley route stops in parking for Old Senator tree…..just hop on. Rooms clean, quiet and plenty parking. Outside pool is nice. This was our 4th or 5th stay here.
Professional and very friendly personnel. Charming amnesty with its lovely garden rest area. Breakfast was just great. That'll be my place whenever I go to St Augustine

This is a historic hotel. That means it's been around for awhile. The outside property was looking a bit sad. They had a couple nice outdoor seating areas but some of the chairs looked rough. The room had some updating that had been done and was ok. The shower was nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The location was great. The trolley stopped right on the property. It was only about a mile down to the historic district. We walked down there a few times.
We weren't expecting a lot given that we only paid $130 for a night. We were very pleasantly surprised with the value considering the low cost. The lobby was very clean, spacious, and nice. The staff were very efficient, friendly, and helpful, and they pointed out several amenities that we weren't aware of.
The room was exceptionally large and was more of a suite than a room. It was very clean and nicely appointed, and had a few nice features. There was a second sink outside of the bathroom and a fold out bed in the couch.
We've traveled a lot and found that for the money this was a very good deal.
The best thing about this location was that the trolley stopped right in the parking lot. This was important since the location was quite a bit north of most of the restaurants, tours etc.
The room was large and had good air conditioning. Beds were comfortable. Cleanliness and maintenance was another issue. Seems like the floor hadn't been mopped in awhile, towel bar hanging from one screw in the bathroom and walls were dirty.
Included continental breakfast was very limited.
Pool could have used a good cleaning.
