With 7 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and more than 4,000 square feet of recently renovated living space, this ideally located home can accommodate up to 18 guests. Our guests 5 favorite things about this home: 1\. Youre surrounded by walkable outdoor adventures. Tromp north and you can check out the boardwalk at sunset at Nease Beachfront Park. To the west, you can fish the Tolomato River. Head east and youll find yourself lounging on one of the areas best (and most chill) beaches. Or just amble down to the end of the block to toss the ball around at the neighborhood park. Seriously, there are no bad options here. 2\. The private, heated saltwater pool and hot tub. We love the beach, and we have nothing against community pools. But theres nothing like being able to take a dip in your own heated backyard pool after you come back from the beach, or relaxing in the hot tub after the little ones are asleep. Oh yeah, and theres a built-in grill in the back patio area that makes for epic evening cook-outs. 3\. You can also hit the city. Dont let your nature-infused surroundings fool you; this home is also just mere minutes from downtown St. Augustine and the quaint, walkable streets of the citys historic district. We suggest visiting St. George Street, the premier thoroughfare for pedestrians to explore shops, bistros and long-standing favorites like Whetstone Chocolates, one of our favorite tours (and tastings) in town. 4\. The bunk/game room. While the adults in your group will spread out in bedrooms full of Florida-forward flavor, your young ones will clamor to stay in the diversion-packed game room that doubles as a kids bedroom. In the daytime, the grown-ups can venture here to take on their juniors at shuffleboard or on the wall-mounted arcade game. But at night, this space becomes the lair of your little ones, sleeping three lucky kiddos in the twin-over-full bunk bed. 5\. The towering living room. Our family gathered here for my father’s 80th birthday with all his kids and grandkids and all our spouses. When you all walk away after 5 days and say some of the best memories ever were made, you know it was a great trip. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all and great amenities. There was plenty of space for all of us and we were not on top of each other. We were here during a cold spell and use of the hot tub was really nice. Bonus, the house has beach chairs, sand toys and wagon, etc to take to the beach. Really nice surprise since we can’t travel with beach things! House was not cleaned to our satisfaction and even after they sent "someone to clean they did not clean what they were supposed to. it is a big house, if you are not caring of cleanness and comfort then you can rent here if not, I recommend you don't. the owners keep asking me to work during my vacation time to submit pictures and text other people to help us with our issues. The description is exactly as it is in the listing. We had 2 families with 4 kids under 7 years old. The layout of the house was perfect for us and all the extra safety features for little ones gave us great peace of mind. The decor was beautiful! And the kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking appliance you could need. The owners were incredibly responsive for big and even the smallest of questions we had. The separate TV/game room was awesome! The kiddos \[grandchildren\] loved the game room and our 5 year old granddaughter played in the play kitchen for hours during the week. Those areas were well used. Our grandchildren are 10, 8 and 5\. Short walk to the beach which is a little farther than I prefer, but parking was never a problem at the public parking space. Everything was very clean. The owner answers texts immediately! The gas was out for the weekend which we were initially upset about but the top of the stove is gas and the bottom part for baking is electric. We used the stove outside to boil potatoes for Easter dinner. The owner was upset and did everything they could to get it back on. The gas company said they were short handled. We still had everything except hot water, fireplace, heated pool, and gas for the stove. The owners gave us 100 dollars to order in if we would like to. The pool is so fun! We had a home on the beach first and the owner for that cancelled and we had to take this one. The owner was so nice about the entire process of putting our trip off due to covid. We never had issues. I would say the one big negative is the price per the location. We paid more money for this house and it was off the beach by two blocks. Fun trip though !! The game room was so nice we had to pry the teens out of it. Great Location on Vilano Beach/St. Augustine! Just a short walk to the Atlantic coast beach yet such a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed this tastefully decorated home and quiet backyard pool and tub. Beautiful bridges and waterways to explore with a short drive to St Augustine's historical Castillo and St. George street. The kitchen is well-equipped and 2 dining areas gave us plenty of room to unwind. Loved the front porch area for morning coffee and the fireplace for chilly evenings. Our 2 year old grand daughter loved the upstairs play room kitchen.
