This means that there could be construction noise during the day due to the renovations being done (they are grinding and repairing the concrete balconies, walkways, etc). They are currently working on our building, but have not started the balcony for this unit yet. We were told that our balcony will be started around 2/1/2026 and once they start the balcony will be closed to guests until the construction is complete. There is a scheduled break in the construction from 12/22/2025 - 1/4/2026 for the holidays.\*\*\* Welcome to the Relaxation Reef Beach Retreat at Colony Reef! Enjoy a beautiful 4th floor view of the ocean from this adorable beachy condo. With plenty of living room seating and a dining room set for 6, there will always be a place for everyone in the family. The kitchen is fully stocked so you can cook your favorite meals. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the private master bathroom. There are two queens in the second bedroom and two twins in the third bedroom. Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool (not heated), children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a HEATED pool, sauna, racquet ball court, and fitness center. The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from the unit. The beaches are also accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access. Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the towns many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley’s to see it all on the go! You can purchase tickets to many of Saint Augustine’s attractions here in the office! Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun! The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Service Animals: Pets are not allowed at our beach retreat. If you bring a pet, we will charge your damage deposit for a pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house and you will risk cancellation of your booking. You must let us know if you are bringing a service animal, it's important to let the cleaners know and the office of the condo. We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. The view was spectacular and St. Augustine is growing. The facilities of the Condos offer great amenities and things for all ages to do. When we arrived, we were greeted rudely by the front desk. All of the owners were told the day before, before I booked, that no one should be letting guests stay at this condo because there was also a mandatory evacuation at this location. I was told nothing about this and when I spoke with the property manager, she said that the owner never told her. Serious unprofessionalism and lack of communication. She then stated she would give a full refund, but we had to make a decision now so that she could release the property to other people who may be evacuating from the hurricane. This is after I told her they were not supposed to rent to anyone so I was very confused by that. I didn’t have time to find a new place now because the hurricane was coming the next day and I needed a safe place for my children. At the end of my stay, I asked to stay another day due to our power being out and damage was to the roads and powerlines down. She said yes, only for one day because someone else is coming in and charged us the full amount, even after everything that happened. My friend that rented a cottage down the street was asked to stay as many days as they wanted due to the damage to their area and they would not allow them to pay. This just shows the type of people we are dealing with here, I will never be back . ##### Crystal C. We came across this property and decided it looked nice and would be the right size for everyone. Communication from the get-go was EXCELLENT!!!! David and Patti answered questions pre-booking, and then responded quickly to all communications once we booked. Check-in and check-out was simple and very easy. The condo was clean and a great layout. We loved it being on 4th floor and the views to the ocean was so relaxing. The community has an elevator, and they provide luggage carts and shopping carts to help get everything from your car to the condo easily. The pool was beautiful and there is a walkway over the dunes for easy access to the beach. We only stayed for a few days, but we have already said when we go back this will be one of the first places we check out to see if it is available again! ##### Jennifer R. Tye title says it all....it's truly a little slice of heaven on earth. I'm 41 & started going to the Colony Reef Club every Summer with my family when I was just a baby; i've stayed in several different units on the property over the years & this one is one of the nicest i've ever stayed in. In addition, the hosts/owners are professional, honest, hospitable & kind & were a pleasure to work with. It has all the conveniences of home (i.e. std size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, shelving for dry foods). The walk to the beach was short with a 15 min drive to downtown St. Augustine. There are a couple of beach shops and several grocery stores within 5 miles of the property. Colony Reef also has a fun courtyard in the middle next to the pool, where they held movie nights and food trucks. The community is gated and full of recreational options to pass the time on a rainy day. ##### Benjamin H.
