This is a 2 story house with the apartment located on the second floor of the home. This apartment is a complete unit separate from the downstairs. The apartment is entered from the ground floor with an inside staircase that leads to the second floor. It is a beautiful apartment with a fabulous sunset marsh view. From the space on the second floor you can enjoy the panoramic view and the many marinas through the oversize windows and front porch. Sailboats, Shrimp boats and other water vessels provide a rich visual feast. The scene is always changing. The property was really pretty with lots of foliage. The kitchen was well appointed and had what we needed. Michael and Hyacinth were excellent hosts and communicated very well throughout the process. We walked everywhere! Once we parked at the apartment, we never drove again! Loved the landscaping, all of the plants and two lovely fountains. Lush landscaping in the yard and the upstairs apartment looked newly refurbished and quite interesting – like being in an art gallery. The kitchen was well stocked, communication was excellent both with in the house, but with the host as well. In a quiet neighborhood away from the business of old Saint Augustine, but easily accessible with a trolley or walking. Also close to current day amenities on the other side of the water.
