We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine. You can walk just down the street to the beach! \*SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99\. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1000 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). \*IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($1000) is not the max that you are responsible for. Here, you will feel like you are a true part of the St. Augustine community! There are several rental places where you can stock up on beach and water sports gear. Additionally, there is a service called Drifters that will come to the house to drop off bikes that you can rent at a daily rate. Nearby restaurants include Paladar Cuban Cafe, Commanders (a local favorite for oysters and seafood), the Sand Bar for a drink and games, and Crescent Beach Bar & Grill. One of my all time favorites is Back 40 A1A (you have to try the Chimichurri Steak Quesadilla and Jerk Chicken Tacos)! A short drive to the south is Palm Coast, where you can visit the Matanzas Inlet, walk through the rose gardens at Washington Oaks State Park, or a round of golf at Hammock Beach Golf Club. Getting Around: We recommend renting a car for your stay. If you prefer to travel by bicycle or would just like to rent them for fun, check out Drifters for drop off/pick up bike rentals. If you see them outside, they are just on site to do their job and keep the home in its best condition for the enjoyment of our guests. Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Pack N Play Available Upon Request with 48 hours notice. Dog friendly only. 1 dog allowed, with maximum weight of 20 lbs. Our dog rent fee is $30.00/Dog/Night, $175.00/Dog/Week, with a maximum of $300.00/Dog/Month. \-This fee is added on to your total after booking confirmation. \-The fee doesn't cover damage caused by your pet. We will provide photos and a handyman quote to fairly assess repair charges. \-Pets must be fully housebroken, freshly bathed prior to arrival and treated with flea and tick meds within 30 days of check in. \-Please share with us any details regarding weight, age, if crated when left alone, if allowed on furniture. If you are bringing a dog, please reach out to us directly about our policy and fees! NOISE LEVELS: There are residents all around on all sides as this is a residential neighborhood. Please respect their right to quiet enjoyment by keeping noise levels down and observing quiet time per St. Johns County ordinance from the hours of 10pm until 8am. LOST AND FOUND ITEMS: We charge a $50 minimum to ship forgotten items, which must be paid in advance. For heavier items, we ask that you pre-pay the $50 and we will acquire any additional shipping cost and bill this to you accordingly + 25% service fee.
