Our party of seven was mostly senior citizens so we did not use the pool as the temperature was too cool for its use. The rooms accommodated us well with each person or couple having their own bedroom. The house was very clean and fairly well stocked. We could have used more coffee cups and glasses, but other kitchen supplies were excellent. There was a good initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Our issues were that the downstairs bathroom did not have a window covering over the window that looked out to the house next door making us feel uncomfortable. Would suggest a peelable tinted window covering. Also, would suggest each bathroom have grab bars to aid in getting in and out of the tub. The other issue that was major to us was that the staircase rail only went partially to the top making it hazardous for our climbs. Suggest a handrail be placed on the opposite side toward the stair top for additional support. Instructions prior to arriving and what to do upon leaving were very clear and complete. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we would not hesitate to return.

Could have been cleaner. Dirty garbage can inside and out. No coffee pot - only expresso machine which local market didn’t carry pods to fit , so I had to buy one for the week. Only one dish towel and dishcloth for kitchen. Coffee cups were limited. Floors were swept but dirty. Could have used some extra bath towels and wash clothes- had to launder them mid week. The pool was great! We had access to gate by the pool until the pool guy locked it. Beach access and location was good! Enjoyed the walk every day.

Location is perfectly centered close and far enough from downtown St. Augustine. Easy walk to the beach for sunrises!

Great location

Had a wonderful vacation will book again. Only negatives would be some of the dishes were dirty and the pool look green the first day but seem to clear up the next otherwise great location. The house met all our needs

It was very nice

The house was large, clean, and the walk to the beach was not too far. It was a good fit for the group of 8 we had. We really enjoyed our stay. Only negative is that almost all of the cooking utensils are pretty cheap, so they can be hard to use. That’s it.

Needs maintenance, proper kitchenware and property seating.

I have rented several homes from VRBO and this house was the most disappointing one. The house advertised for 10 people. However, the dining room table and living room had seating for only 8. Kitchenware was lacking. One larger pot for cooking for 10 people. Blender's top was missing. Dish towels were stained. Kitchen drawers needed to be cleaned. All dishware had to be washed before using. House overall needs maintenance. There was a missing threshold in the master bedroom, the tile in the master shower was lose, towel rack in one of the bathrooms was lose, facet in the same bathroom was lose and rattled every time you used it, and there is a large stain on the ceiling in the hallway. The pool had sand in it when we got there and was not cleaned until Friday, the day before leaving. Also some of the pictures were removed from the walls, leaving the hooks and nails exposed. Just felt very uninviting. The location to the beach was great.

Nice House in Quiet Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay at Dune Nuttin. The house was perfect for our group. There were plenty of options for hanging out, between the upstairs and downstairs decks, the poolside, and the open floor plan in the main living area. It is a short walk to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. The only downside is there are really no restaurants or shopping within walking distance. We also ventured into St Augustine, which was a short drive away.

I hate to say that I didn’t even make it back to NY yet and felt the need for this email to be typed as I’m still in the air on the plane back home. To say that I am disappointed and frankly, appalled is an understatement. When we arrived on Thursday, the outside was filled with broken branches everywhere (I literally had to go around the entire backyard and pick up everything on the ground before the rest of my party arrived, just so we would be able to walk around and sit outside) dirty chairs were left flipped over a small fence where we had to physically climb to retrieve them, and the pool was filthy. I did email earlier in the week regarding the hurricane/damages and was ensured the property would be checked before our arrival. Upon entering the house, the bottom floor wreaked of pure gasoline mold. One couple would not even sleep down there. The top floor had fruit flies everywhere, no remote for the main television, towels in the kitchen and for shower with stains, pots and pan had dried food/oil still on them, the toilet bowls were filthy, and worst of all the dishwasher was completely filled with mold. I literally couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened it and saw all of the mold in there. It was actually disgusting and to top it off definitely a health hazard. I will attached a photo of the dishwasher so you can see how gross it was. I was left embarrassed and mortified that I was the one who chose this house with these conditions and had to collect money from my friends. Something needs to be done. This experience was just unacceptable.
