Summary: THIS IS THE ONE!! We invite you come stay at this southeast Springfield home, in a fabulous location for accessing all of the city hot spots! This beauty is set up for your peace and relaxation! Bring the family or your computer and co-workers! The Space: The "Greystone Home" is quality at its best! You can expect to arrive at a fully equipped, top notch, inviting home that will provide all the comforts you would expect of a perfect place to stay! The owners have gone above and beyond to prepare this fabulous, fully remodeled retreat with you in mind! The open floor plan provides the opportunity to socialize and mingle anywhere, whether you're in the amazing kitchen, sitting at the large table for 8 in the dining room, or relaxing in the upscale furnishings in the main living area! Off of the kitchen is a den/multi-purpose place to sit and enjoy the ambiance of the electric fireplace. This is a perfect place to cozy up with a good book or be involved in the conversations happening in the kitchen. The large kitchen island with four bar stools provides even more counter-space, a great place to sit and visit, or as a breakfast bar while getting the kids ready for the daily adventure! The additional family/entertainment room will likely be the spot you end up watching a movie while you kick your feet up on the reclining sofa! This room also includes fun activities for kids of all ages. The surround sound wired to the large 60" smart TV, board games, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii are exciting things to keep the whole group entertained! I told you so...the owners have thought of it all for you and your group! See below for more detailed inclusions for each space! Again, if a family/work luxury stay is what you're looking for, we've got it waiting for your trip at the "Greystone Home"! MAIN LIVING ROOM: This is where you enter through the front door and includes, stylish décor, soft seating with updated furnishings, and is open to the kitchen/dining room. KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed, updated and amazing, plenty of counter-space, large kitchen island w/ 4 bar stools, dining table has room for 8, and a 12 cup coffee maker (Grounds, filters, sugar provided). DEN/MULTI-USE: electric fireplace w/multiple settings, premium furniture w/seating for 5 including 2 swivel chairs, and light and bright colors. ENTERTAINMENT ROOM: reclining sofas, board games, video games, and a 60" Smart TV. This is a LOT OF FUN!!! LAUNDRY ROOM: full size washer and dryer (soap, dryer sheets, and bleach included) this space features a large area with room for folding and separating. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: PRIMARY BEDROOM: King size sleep number bed (adjust the firmness, sleeps 2), quality bedding, desk (great for work or vanity), bedside lighting, and attached full bathroom. BEDROOM TWO: premium Queen size bed (sleeps 2), quality bedding, bedside lighting, and plenty of walking area. BEDROOM THREE: 2 full size beds (One loft bed with a regular height bed underneath, sleeps 4), quality bedding, and lots of room. BEDROOM FOUR: Twin over full bunk bed (Sleeps 3), desk/workspace, quality bedding, bean bag for sitting, and tons of room. ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: Four twin size air beds and the blue chair in the living room folds to a twin size. MASTER BATHROOM: walk-in shower with a luxury shower feature that includes four different settings (instructions to use are in the property), premium towels, hand towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soaps, and make-up wipes. This is a really nice space for enjoying time with your group, reading a book, or just catching some rays! Other Things to Note: Leading into the property, there are a few steps to get up to the front door. This may be difficult for people of limited mobility. The door lock is a Schlage Encode and will be programmed with a unique code for your entire stay for added security. we never reuse the same code. The house is fully automated through Nest. There is a Nest Thermostat (which goes into Eco friendly mode when you leave the house), Nest Security system (so we know if unwanted visitors try to visit while nobody is renting, you don't have to use it if you don't want to), a Nest outdoor camera at the front door, and Nest smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors that will let us know if there is a problem with the house. \*\*Minimum booking age is 21 \*\*Guests do not have access to the garage \*\*This property is NOT pet friendly. There will be fines imposed for any evidence of unauthorized pets. \*\*Freedom complies with all ADA regulations and welcomes Registered Service Animals. We were in town for my niece’s wedding back in June, then were back in town this September for my mom’s funeral. I was so glad that the home was available for rent on such short notice. We had been very pleased with our earlier stay so it was nice to be able to go to a known comfortable place. With four bedrooms and three baths, the house is perfect for my husband and I along with my daughter and her family. It is close the major thoroughfares in Springfield so navigation was a breeze! It was very clean, cozy, and accommodating for all of us! The kitchen was great for cooking a few meals at home while we were there, which my daughter loved doing! The kids loved the comfortable game room and hung out there while the adults hung out by the electric fireplace to relax and talk. The host was very attentive but never intrusive. Picked because just blocks away from family. The space was great. My cousins could come over for lunch and dinner with so much room. Our only issue was with toilet paper and paper towels. We basically had 1 full roll of toilet paper between 3 bathrooms. When I emailed the property they said they just provided starters and we provided additional. Just strange, none of our friends have ever seen this in a rental. Would stay again and is a great space. ##### Shelly B. We loved the open floor plan and different seating areas. A great kitchen island and large table to accommodate our family. Only negatives is the cleaning, lots of cobwebs throughout the house, dirty floors and the grass was long and recently cut so lots of clippings we took off shoes (as instructed) and vacuumed a few times to keep it contained to the front door rug. Just don’t want these couple things to ruin the hard work spent on the interior. Thanks for a great family weekend. ##### Renee S. Loved the open feel and different areas to hang out. Not sure about the big stand alone tub for showering. It was really weird falling feeing. The grass needed to be cut bad. With a mix of families, the multiple bathrooms each with their own shower was helpful. Communication with the owner/vacation rental company was easy. Beds and pillows were comfy. We didn't eat any major meals but the kitchen was nice and appliances were clean. ##### Danielle W. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and (when we were there) coffee and spices. The only two hitches were that the access code was not deployed as described, neither text nor email. I was able to resolve that with the property management company with only two calls, and we only waited for a few minutes to gain access. I'm sure if I had realized earlier in the day that I did not have the code, we would not have waited at all. The other hitch was that there were no trash bags. The primary kitchen trash can was without a bag, and no bags present under the sink. Several interactions later, we did get trash bags delivered. The electronics - Netflix and more, were a nice bonus, and pretty well documented, but a complex A/V system. I did learn to navigate the apple tv remote successfully :) ##### Rod H. Nice, quiet street with wonderful neighbors that left us feeling like we were in a little rural community. But the home is perfectly situated in the middle of everything. We had six adults gathering for a wedding in Springfield - coming in from multiple states. This place gave us the perfect spot to visit and bedroom/bathroom space to spare. The home itself is well stocked with many amenities, from cookware to laundry. The beds are very comfortable and we loved the big kitchen table to accommodate many people.
