Galloway Place

Galloway Place is conveniently located in Southeast Springfield near the very popular Sequiota Park. Access to one of Springfields Greenway Trails is directly across the street and leads to the Springfield Conservation Nature Center. This 4 bedroom home is nestled in a park like setting that feels like you are in the country but centrally located to everything in town. It offers easy access to Hwy 65 and Branson. It is only minutes from a wide variety of restaurants, The Battlefield Mall, and IMax Theatre. This home is walking distance, via the trail, to Sequiota Park, local shopping and eateries. Just a couple miles from two major hospitals

This was our second time to stay at Galloway Place. It is comfortable, clean, and meticulously decorated. The owners have provided everything you need for a lovely stay. They are easy to communicate with and respond promptly to requests. This is definitely a five star stay!

Quiet, Cozy, and Comfortable

My Co-Worker and I had a long work trip and the house was so cozy and we were able to work late into the night with no distractions like we would normally have at a hotel. I really loved the aesthetic of the home as well. We will be back in the future and have also considered bringing our families here for our next non-work visit to Springfield.

Excellent place to stay!

House is an older house built about 1920 but with updated appliances etc. Decorated with beautiful antiques. There are stairs- but there is one bedroom on the main floor (the other bedrooms and laundry are upstairs/downstairs). It has a beautiful covered patio with plenty of seating. Owners are super nice! It is in town but you don’t feel like you are in town! Close to a park with a walking trail- but we didn’t have time this trip and it rained our first night there. We would definitely stay here again!!

Bowling trip for the greater Ozarks open

Beautiful property cool lay out, house is really big compared to what I thought before arriving. The house is really clean and the hosts stocked some breakfast items and toiletries for us to use. TV’s everywhere. We had a great experience and would go back to this house again

Last minute trip with family

We needed to make a last minute trip with family (all adults) and this was the PERFECT location and home for us. All four bedrooms are spacious (especially the master bedroom on the lower level) and the extra touches with the thoughtful, historical decor was AMAZING. Add in Gracie and Tarzan in the backyard (the mini-pony and donkey), the quiet neighborhood, the walking trail across the street and ample porch seating! The owners were quick to respond to any questions both on the app and through text and even offered to salt the driveway very early in the morning and help in any way when bad weather was impending for our trip back to the airport. Coffee and extras were plentiful and the cleanliness was TOP NOTCH. All beds were extremely comfortable as well. This is an EXCEPTIONAL find!!!

So Special!

Great location, charming house, and the hosts have thought of everything. If that weren’t enough, the porch was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and other beverages in the evening. Getting to watch Gracie and Tarzan (the mule and pony) from a distance and squirrels and deer up close made the porch even that much better.

Relaxing Weekend

This place is great. Nice and quiet but close to everything you need. Our favorite thing was the porch. Very relaxing, perfect place to have your morning coffee as well as an evening cocktail as you wind down from your day! We were in town for a wedding and very happy we found this place to hang out and relax before the big event.

Route 66 Trip

This house was wonderful. It was well located, very clean, well stocked, quiet and safe. Perfect location for a day trip to Branson and a trip down Route 66. The owners were very courteous and very prompt with their communication. We will definitely stay there again sometime!

Great weekend conference in Springfield

We came to town for a conference from Thursday to Sunday. The house was perfect for us! It was clean and inviting. We appreciated all of the attention that has been paid to decorating with interesting items throughout the house. Communication and check-in were smooth, and the hosts ensured we had everything we needed. The kitchen was small, as pictured in the listing, but it is also very functional and met our needs well. There are several restaurants, grocery stores, and breweries nearby. If we need a place to stay in Springfield again, we'll be back!
