Huge kitchen with a large island for dining. Cozy living room with huge TV and gas fireplace. Outside is a country dream. Sit on the porches and listen to the birds chirp and watch the whitetail deer. Central to the Bourbon Trail, you can hit any of the well known distilleries in less than an hour in any direction. Located out i n the country,but just a quick 10-15 minute drive into Springfield where you can grab a bite to eat at Mordecai's on Main, grab groceries or a delicious plate lunch at Parkview IGA, or shop in one of the little boutiques or antique shops on main street. There was a group of 8 adults (4 couples) that shared this beautiful modern space. We all loved the rural area which is extremely dark & quiet @ night. The large porch allowed all of us to sit outside & enjoy our morning coffee while the rain poured down. The fire pit & provided wood was a big hit. The kitchen was fully equipped to make two large evening meals. We lost power late @ night but the host was quick with a helpful response which we all greatly appreciated.
